Default High Stakes Poker

High Stakes Poker is the best show on television because you get to watch other people.

It seems to me that pros gamble too much. I'm not sure why but they play the worst cards and make poker look like a crapshoot. Now of course it's ok to play bad cards every now and then for different reasons, but they play crap ALOT.

You know what the funny thing is? People call them Pro's and say it's ok for them to do that but when you do it they call you a donk.......makes no sense.........

Good point. I wonder though, did they get that far by gambling, or are they just doing it for the buzz?

Alot of the players that have the money did not get there by gambling. Having the money to do so makes it much easier iMHO...........

I think most of the pros have made their way by playing solid poker over the years. I think most of them play crap hands to make u think they play that way everytime.

Most of them should be concerned of others pros watching the shows and studying the way they play.

That could be it. Another answer to my own question could be that the crap hands we see are spaced out far, but since alot of boring hands are cut out, it seems like they're always playing crap hands. When you think about it, crappy hands can make for the most entertaining ones with big bluffs, hitting a monster where the other player doesn't expect you to hold those cards, etc.

oF course thats part of their strategy, but by what ive seen on tv u can expect they are always holding crap when they are not.
