It makes people millionaires but also makes people go broke. Some people are just gamblers and they always ignore bankroll management.

Yep perfect example. Except he also had an addiction to drugs. He was such a great player, probably one of the best. He was amazing, I don't know why he'd do that to himself.

Easy it was the drugs. They are a powerful addiction as is newfound power, money glory......too bad he succumed to it......

I think the tv only shows the good part of the game, people getting rich and all that stuff, but im sure there are a lot of guys getting broke trying to fullfill their dreams. ITs not that easy at all.

Well yeah basically. Just think...how are all the pros getting rich? It has to be from the highrolling donks with money to waste, or compulsive gamblers and gamblers who play way out of their bankroll.

Think of the lottery...one winner with their dreaming coming true....millions of losers who lose alot of money over the years playing the lottery.

yeah i think the tv should show that part of the game too. Because over the years more and more people still believing on the "american dream" and there are only a few that can make it.

But most of them won entries through satellites on their respective poker rooms and most of them are very rich businessman or well known actors and sportsmen so I don't understand who is losing money and is making them broke

Of course there are a lot of people getting broke on all those events, its just the way it is. Thats why i think the tv should be giving more information about bankroll management and stuff like that.
