Just wondering if anyone has been to wv to the recently opened up card rooms there. I live in Pa where cards are not leagal live anyway. I it worth my 2 hour drive to go to mountainer. what are the limits like and the people fish???? or strong . Any thoughts from players that have been would be appricated.

they have 1/2 NL on up to i saw as high as $25/$50 they have limit games sit n gos as far as fish and strong players i only know about the ones at my table they seemed to be mostly fish to me.....as for other members close to WVa here i only know of me and MsSlawdy i only live 7 miles from there and i know Clawdy is close to there and she works there....welcome to 4kingpoker and gl to ya

I have not been there to play cards yet but have been many times to play slots.(I only live 7 miles north in a lil town called Chester) A couple of friends of mine go. One plays high limit blackjack tables($50 & $100 a hand) The other plays holdem, tables are $5.00 and up The buy-in is $75.00 (I think, but don't hold me to that!) I do not work there, I work at a restaurant called Crickster's Rock & Roll Cafe (GOOD food and video slots in back there is a small bar...The King's Room, I work there. I personally would drive to check it out. I once drove to Maryland for the day to buy lottery tickets! If ya go good luck! Stop at Crickster's to get a bite to eat! On Route 30.

ok my bad i thought u worked at mountaineer Clawdy.....they have tables under $5 i played $1/$2 NL when i was there and the buy in is $75

Mountaineer is having sit & go tourneys the whole month of march.
