Well you know something; you don’t want a table of Steady Eddies. Why?
Well “Pokie” they will cancel themselves out, if you are on this type of table, in a tournament you are not going to be chipped up before the break, which actually is a disaster.
The other week I playing a tournament UTG I look and I have two gorgeous black Kings (aka BUTCHERS),
I look at the table and I know most of the players, one of them appeared in Late Night Poker years ago and four of them have played in the EPT, so KK-UTG, The blinds are 200/100, it’s early and we all have around 10,000 chips.
Like I said this is a table of STEADY EDDIES, What am I going to raise ( I need chips, I need to get rid of one player with this hand, I need one caller, and I was hoping for 2 callers)
I raise 300 as quick as I can, to make it look like I am on a drawing hand.....

Now like I said I know this table is TIGHT! ( 6 seat far to tight)
I know this clubs Loose (High ATM factor) in fact very loose.
All the Sharks are on one table..

Well you are right He is a Shark, but he was a shark in the BB, he had 3 allins in front of him, he had money in the pot, and he had value to call us all and much more importantly!
HE had the opportunity to get rid of THREE of his biggest rivals with LIVE CARDS and also because, He was the tournament chip leader he could take the loss of the pot if it went tits up.
Result 3 of us went and played pot limit 5 card stud on our own cash table and gave the tournament director some shit for keeping all the sharks on one table. ROFLOL.
Anyway YOU CANT WIN them ALL, and YOU can’t say where you want to sit, and if it had not happened, I would have had nothing to write home about!
