Thread: Weekly Round 2 on PokerStars

Default Weekly Round 2 on PokerStars

Ok, so i just started playing freerolls for the first time earlier this week.

After trying the astrologer freerolls on PokerStars a few times, I finally placed 50th out of 12,000 to get invited to the Weekly Round 2 , which I participated in today.

It started at 11am my time, on a Saturday, which isn't good at all I don't think.

I basically woke up 30 mins before, had time to shower and have some coffee (barely) and the tourny started. Not a good game at all for me, busted out in 15 minutes even though I had semi decent cards, just made some stupid plays I think, which goes along with the coffee not kicking in yet.

Lesson learned...whether its online or in-person games...be ready so you can play at your best. This means being awake, getting your other stuff done so your not distracted, and if your not in that mode...back away...and come back another time when you are. Otherwise...your game is definitely going to suffer.

I'd like to see PokerStars move the tournie to a little later in the afternoon, but I suppose once you start doing that, its going to mess it up for someone else as well.

    Default I agree ..too early

I agree it's too early. They also have one on sunday at 2pm (or3 ??) so u can play that one if it works out better.

BEAT OUT 11,900 PLAYERS AND THEN ANOTHER 2 OR 3,000 AND YOU MIGHT WIN ENUF FOR A PACK OF GUM OR A CUP OF COFEE ... GOTTA LOVE THOSE PS FREEROLLS
