all right here it is i play alot of sit n gos on stars but make money but never enough to make a diffrence on my bankroll which is most of the time just my money back but i seem to run out of gas coming into the final table which in most cases is easy enough to make but just cant keep up the aggression long enough to make top 2-5 were the real $$ counts anybody got any helpfull info on times or when i should be making moves orfolding

First off, congrats on making the money regularly. Some people play looser when they get down to the final table. This works sometimes if the other guys are tightening up. You are able to take down the blinds here and there. Of course the big trick is to not give up chips overbetting the wrong hands. Personally I tend to play about the same as Idid to get to the final table. Position becomes even more important to me later in the game.

The key to sucessful SnG play is understanding the various strategies and using them at the appropriate time in the game.

I recommend Colin Moshmans book Sit & Go Strategy.

If you tend to just make the money or go out on the bubble then it may be that you are not being aggressive enough on the bubble.

Have you read Harringtons books? - are you familar with his zone strategies (red, yellow zone etc)?

If you post a few hand histories for situations that you think you are not playing optimally then people on the forum may be able to help more.

However, if you WIN more than you lose you can't be doing too much wrong!

I play turbo SnGs up to £200 buy in and most of the time am happy to break even!

sit n gos can be quite profitable I heard quite a few pros play them as well to make a living.

I sometimes play $5 sng but only play the sites where the fee is 50c some sites charge a $1 and the lowers sngs where you should start for $1 can cost 50c fee

play in big tourneys. you are bound to do well in some of them
