Carbon sucks

More bad beats there than i've ever seen anywhere and i run into my share of them at every sight.

Support is useless. It takes them hours to respond to e-mails. They do solve things, though.

The only thing keeping me here is my rakeback.

Things don't like from Carbon are:

-Heavy of the software (not heavy like PKR but still can be more light).

-You need to log-in to see what games are running (mostly sites can see the lobby and games running with out the need to log-in., except PKR also.)

-Sit&go's take some time to get full.

That's it.


The things i like:

-Guaranteed Tournys with small number of players.

-Leaderboard of single tourneys are updated instantly (cake network take some time to update, and is what i don't like from bodog, they don't even put the places that players are at the time, you only can see places of who is getting out, but if is close to bubble need to search table by table to know the chips left of every one).

-Emoticons are fun.

-Personal Avatars that can be changed the times you want (Stars let you change it only ones, Cake have same avatars since... ever)

-Min Deposit is $10 (Cake is $25, Bodog is $20, Fulltilt is $50 [$10 only first time])

-Min Withdraw is $25 (cake is $50 ($500 with checks), Bodog $20, Fulltilt $50)

-Time to get your money 3 days, not the fastest, not the longest. (fastest for me is Stars, 32Red and Cake with 24 hrs or less.

-Play most of private games in there (or in other merge skins) then any other site.

About the bad beats, i play a lot less in cake and still get more bad beats in cake that Carbon

So, for me Carbon is my #1 site.

I think to be honest I don't find Carbon (Merge) any worse than any other site for nasty beats. I've never really liked the software, I think the smiley things are really annoying. As Logan says the program itself uses to much processor power on the old computer (and mine is old )

The main thing that gets me with Merge is that it doesn't matter how many skins they add they can't get the player numbers up. Average player numbers seems to have stuck at between 3000 and 4000, it would be really nice if they could get them up to 10k to 15k like the Boss network.

If that happen i surely stop playing open games there, is not the same play a open game now with 50 to 100 players tops, that one with 500 to 1000.

At the moment the economics don't seem to me to stack up with merge, the $50k has an overlay of around $11k every week. That mean the merge network is losing around $11k a week on just that tournament. They have other medium size guarantee games that also lose them money, without additional players how long can they keep these games running?

carbon for me is my favorite site, no particular reason i just seem to do good, they have alot of privete touny's with small amount of players, and u got to love the smiley's, and i can always find a touny no matter what time it is, and i love the bount games

I LIKE CARBON... I only play there...
I think their bigest problem is their Blinds structure... that rises too fast...
Wird... U start with 1000 chips and after 20 min the blinds are bigger than 100... nuts!!!

I too like playing at Carbon. Seems like less suck-outs then FT and PS. It does sound like a turbo game.
