i've had coupons the last few weeks. they're very difficult if you weren't playing a lot this week. some people start with 45k chips. others with 2k. while i applaud adding a freeroll, the high rollers don't need them as much as the LL grinders.

what a joke....i just registered for this thing and i don't mind the 2200 people in it so far......but damn the first person has 65k starting stack and i am already in 2036th place with a 500 chip starting stack.....those with big stacks could easily sit out for an hour and a half and not be hurt.....what a BS tourny

Yep. BS. I'm sure the big vip points guys like it. but the vast majority are not big vip earners.

I've gotten the coupon also a bunch. i never play, just roll my eyes at the marketing wizards at Carbon for coming up with a reward that actually makes you not wanna play there.

That was so lame. I signed up the first week and when I got to the table I had a whopping $250 chips.. lol. I put up a fight for a little while, being stubborn I guess. But was of course called by someone with a $30,000 stack or so..lol. Too dumb.

The next week I signed up just to see how many chips I would get...$750.. whoo hooo! Of course you can't wait forever and I had to put it all in. Out again.

I decided to check it out again and had $1500 chips this time. But, couldn't play a hand without going all in, so I was out very fast.

Oh well, maybe next week?.. lol Not.

pretty sure this was a september only event. thankfully. i didn't bother to play the last two weeks ... my son had homework to do. i probably had around 4500 in starting chips.

terrible. but its no different than anything else poker sites do. i got a $25 bonus from carbon on a deposit. i played for almost two weeks ... i e-mailed them and asked how far along i was. i was less than 20 percent of the way to completion. i gave up.

Unless you are a high roller, these are just a waste of time. Had 500 starting chips and one guy at my table had 45K.

I agree, carbon makes you NOT want to play there. Just their blind structure does that.

i lasted 5 hands....my first 3 hands were AA/JJ/QQ trippled up...didn't play 4th hand...5th hand pocket 10 called by pocket 9 he hit trips on the river.....lol....knew it started to good to be true....i started with 500 ships....lol
