So they guess at what may have happened and then pass the word so that people can slander him. hmmm

I find this the most offensive thing on the internet. Someone posts what they believe and then it gets posted so many times people think it's a fact.

If this is true, this isn't an issue for all players, it's the issue of two poker sites and the players that received emails.

Why RG is spreading this propaganda is beyond me. Maybe he can enlighten us all and tell us why this is so important to him.

I thought the same thing. If an investigation is ongoing, then it would be nice to hear the results.

I did not get any email and I have multiple merge sites.

afaiks if its true then its an issue in terms of how its handled by the sites afiaks

a) from what is aledged I would think that the original site whose information has been aledgedly used by a former member would want to take action

b) the current site may or may not have known what the member of staff may or may not have been using to source player leads

c) also I would have thought the players whos emails and contact details may or may not have been used by a non authosised 3rd party would be rightly agreived

I think its the later point (c) that is the reason for the post in another forum and forum webmaster rightly looking out for players right to have their info only used by those that they have given it to ... not to possible find (if true) that a 3rd party has been contacting them from this info

maybe it was orignally posted to get players who have recieved emails to ask the relevant sites how and why etc ???

thats my guess - and obviously I dont know if its true or not - lets hope the relevant sites come up with something on the issue

I guess I should have clarified I received an Email from Colin Anderson (the sender) personally as well as the standard one from GR88. In it was offered special deals, etc etc. I won,t disclose here.But i found out from other players who have been around as long as I have that they got a similar Email personally from Colin.This is the email that Irked me.He has worked for multiple poker sites such as Iron Duke among many.I don,t blame Gr88 for his actions as they may not have known of his actions.I was just reporting an incident and have no axe to grind either way.

hmmmmmmmm. very interesting..says playful..there is alot of players going through playful posts with a vacuum cleaner knot a comb..they check them cause they wanna c if playful is up on her spelling and stuff.. and i did see it somewhere gr88 is in big trouble 4 sure

The blog on GR88 is a joke.
The blogger just import the articles and delete comments from players who take the time to read the rubbish.
I contacted support and basically told them the getting poker info from Cardplayer and Pokernews was a players best options so fire the bloggers to save money-No respones from support at all which is no surprise.
I won a Final Table seat in the UPC Promo in May plus 40.00 only made a 20.00 deposit so no money lost.
