    Default see other thread

    hi

see the other thread on this - basically aced have prematurely announced the end of the affiliate program

yes there are problems - but long story short aced has been taken over / bought out by PDC/ carbon/ merge as they clearly were in trouble ...

the word I have had from Carbon is they are now in control of aced and are sorting out how and what to do with things

one thing that is really important to make clear is that while aced as a site AMY close at some point - players will NOT lose bankroll etc as its all being sorted out by PDC/Carbon/ Merge

they didnt want to announce things early as they hadnt sorted out their strategy - however it seems someone at aced jumped the gun on the affiliate side

I'm told ultimately affiliates wont be affected either - but players will come first in sorting things out ;-)

    cheers scrawnybob

ps. Im not sure at the moment where this leaves the aced league - it may be that we can move them to carbon or they continue on aced - again we will sort it out as best as possible

Default aced under new management - playwers & affiliates unaffected

    hi all

just to update this thread and end any confusion or insecurity over the original email issued by aced affiliate department re: closing aced affiliate program

we now have confirmed word from Carbon / PDC on this

basically Carbon / PDC have bought the aced brand and site - they will be honouring all player balances etc etc and the aced site will remain running but will be run by Carbon (in the same way they also run the PDCpoker brand)

players will be unaffected and likely not even notice a transition

aced affiliates accounts will be ported into the PDC/carbon affiliate program

in summary as I originally posted there was no need to panic and the original email sent out by aced affiliate program was rather jumping the gun and also misleading in so far as it was incomplete and also didnt fully explain the situation - rather it created one that didnt in actuality exist

players dont need to move balances or withdraw from aced - aced will continue to run, now under better management and players will likely benefit from more promotions etc as part of carbon / PDC sites

    cheers scrawnybob

ps. as things are a bit muddled during the changeover of operating staff etc I will have to see how quickly we can get the remaining aced games setup

I,d just like to report I requested a withdrawal Tuesday May 4 and received it to my Moneybookers account Thursday May 6th. So it seems everything is normal there. But I withdrew before this May 7th notice from Aced.

    Default all is well

    hi

I think that whoever it was at aced shouldnt have issued the original notice - basically carbon have it all under control

it doesnt affect players at all - and infact as I suggested earlier as a result of aced becoming another site owned by carbon / PDC they already have more promotions

We have requested our tournaments to be setup for the next 2 sundays to complete the league and also as an upside I think our games should be open to players on carbon / PDCpoker / Aced which may well help more members who didnt signup at aced when we made the change

    cheers scrawnybob

    Bob.

If Aced now is part of Carbon/PDC that means open games that previously appear only in Carbon (and not in other skins) now can be played too from Aced? And if now we can play 4kp games from Carbon/PDC we can play also Private games set on Carbon from Aced?.

Other question is how we end with the rake back promo in Aced that you manage to get for us?, we forget about it now or Carbon going to honor that?

    Rg.

Thanks for the update on your cashout, 2 days was fast, glad to see that Sportsbook fusion to merge do help to improve pay times.

Question, you get charged with a fee for the cashout?.

I make a withdraw today from Feltstars and for what i read they charge $10 for cashout to Neteller if is less than $500, WTF?. I donīt remember any merge site charge me before for a cashout (in fact no poker site charge me for withdraw to Neteller before).

Not sure if from what i withdraw they going to charge the $10, or if the $10 was only for credit cards or checks, (it was mention when enter to withdraw tab and chose Neteller), will see when i get it.

Default rakeback & playing games across the network

    hi

4kingpoker games now on carbon / PDC / aced
yep as mentioned earlier - now aced is owned by carbon / pdc this does mean that our games will show on all 3 sites and will be playable on any of the 3 sites - basically like it used to be when games were on both carbon & PDC

rakeback via 4kingpoker on aced & carbon

yes this should still continue as they have basically ported over the details on old aced affiliate accounts over to PDC

to be honest offering rakeback on merge to as many of our members as possible was one of the reasons we moved games to aced - as at the time carbon were not prepared to move existing players tracked to us onto a rakeback tracker for us on Carbon

so we moved focus to aced where we could

now we should hopefully have rakeback offer on all three sites ... so giving you all a choice

HOWEVER its really important that members signing up expecting rakeback signing up via our links check a few details ...

you must be a new player
you must NOT have clicked on other sites links to the rooms previously

importantly you must understand Merge network rules of ONE rakeback account on the network ONLY ...

two clarify I quote merge rules ...

"if a player has played on another Merge Gaming Rakeback Site then they are ineligible for Rakeback membership if they join another Merge Gaming Operator, if they have contributed NGR to the original site in the past 60 days".

so basically if you already have rakeback deal on a merge site joining another would mean you dont get it on 2nd, 3rd accounts etc if you've raked anything on the first site in last 60 days

    hope that is a help

    cheers scrawnybob

Thanks Bob that helps a lot.

Means that Aced will be safe, that can play Carbon games also wich is a plus, and because have rakeback in aced also means that if Feltstars charge me a fee for cashout going to trow them to trash and stick only on Aced.

And for 4KP will mean that players now can play from Carbon and PDC even if not have Aced wich is great for the forum too, that posibly bring more players to the games.

Who will guess that the change will be for good ;-)

    Thanks.

I posted to show Aced seems to be business as usual. I have never heard of a $10 charge for a withdrawal from a MERGE Site. I would ask Neteller what the deal is there. ?

From what i remember Feltstars have his own payment processor is not the same like merge, you need to send your money first from poker to cashier, and then the cash out, like i say, will wait to see when the money arrives if they charge the fee or not, hopely not.
