Default Carbon / Poker.com are brilliant - to balance the arguement

    hi

    hmm

well just to balance this thread - I've personally found poker.com & carbon poker support to be exceptionally good

rapid response to any issues / reliable / 100% trustworth site IMHO

I've personally cashed out over $900 in cash games winning from their site - and the cheque turned up in 3 days - which as far as I'm concerned its excellent

to put the original post in perspective - as I understand it you got your account frozen / closed for a specific reason / specific to your account and your actions

that is a very different thing to having an issue with them which would affect other players who didnt misuse their account

from what I can see we're clearly missing some previous dialogue which explains it was something to do with playing in a private tournament - I'd suggest another forum must have got involved / reported your account - although I've not heard of forums bothering to do this - so maybe it was a very closed game that they were particularly protective of

I don't know - but I do know this is no grounds to slate a site - when clearly the issue is with how you've used your account rather than a issue of the site

maybe they could have been a bit more forthcoming - but I'm guessing they / you know more about what this playing in tournaments you shouldnt have been

GENERAL NOTE - All players should be aware that ALL poker rooms reserve the right close any player accounts as they see fit - they're not going to do it over nothing ...

but anyone breaking their rules, bending the rules, multiple accounts, cheating, collusion or trying to game the system - does risk having their account closed.

If you play by the rules then they're not going to freeze or close accounts IMHO

    cheers scrawnybob

lol, you know what they say... it's all legal and fair - till they catch you.

it is a known sentence to all illegal business around!
half year ago, i downloaded poker.com (after i already had carbonpoker) but i didn't get their "newplayerfreeroll" coupon.

i asked them about it, and even tryied to be nice but they spotted me right away....

    thats life tzachip...

but i still think you ain't telling us the whole email story between you and them.

Just open a new account, and learn from your previous mistakes.

may i ask you something: beeing a member to more than 60 forums....

do you have time to actually "play" poker?

you probably shouldnt be playing in 50+ restricted freerolls anyways... but he does have a point if the forum administrators are willing to prove that he is part of that forum then the ban should be lifted

Default if you know the forum that they're talking about

    hi

the only thing I can suggest is as they have said

"you are joining private tournaments when you are not a member"

and I think we're probably missing something here - but wouldnt the easiest thing be to contact the forum admin (whichever of the 50+) that has the issue with and get them to speak to carbon ?

I'm guessing but it looks like Carbon dont want to get involved in sorting out something
out that is clearly an issue with whoever the private tournament was with - if you have any info / idea who / or where the games was with - I'd approach them

I've always had a very good experience with Poker.com / carbon support ... and that has nothing to do with the webmaster side ... just as a player

but if they've got reason or think they have reason to close the account and then it's not handled tactfully they're just going to close the account - threatening to post up in 50 forums really isnt the way to go with support - they will just close the account and close you out

might also be worth contacting whoever affiliate / site you signed up through - they may be keen to help if they can -

although I would be sure to give them a full and frank run down of what has happened 100% else they wont thankyou if they walk into a s**t storm with business partners etc while trying to help you out

    cheers scrawnybob

there could be any number of things you did wrong such as giving out passwords for private games, playing on more than one account in the same game, etc. My guess is that your problem is with a forum and they alerted Carbon. The poker sites are going to support the forum's position because they bring in business. If this happens at another site in the future, you'll need to reread everybody's rules to see where you went wrong. Best to just forget it for now and move on. Good Luck.
