my eyes fell on an interesting private tourney hoSted at "CARBON POKER" on the 27th of july, this this sunday

it sais that it's a VIP only game (Very important posters...)
Game: HORSE

Type: NO LIMIT!

yep - thought you might like that one ;-)

I'm going to get crucified in that - my non holdem game sucks big time

but I thought it would make a nice change - think I posted it up somewhere else but basically the VIP (very important posters) games are open to members who have been here longer than 2 months and have 50+ posts (obviously of a overall decent standard)

these will for the moment be monthly games - alternating between a HORSE $50 freeroll and a NLTH $1 buy-in with $50 added

the VIP games will be at Carbon poker on Sundays at a mid time ;-)

passwords will be sent out to qualifiying players around 24hrs before

so you'll be getting the password - I dont make too much of a big thing of the VIP games

mainly because I dont want to have to deal with the inevitable smart a** who joins and then posts 50x time junk in double quick time to try and request the password (you just know its going to happen if I make it too obvious)

(not sure the VIP title is a good one in some ways as anyone who makes decent posts is a very important poster of sorts but anyway its an easy title)

but hopefully those that are close to being eligible will pick up on it and stay active to get into these "more intimate games" - It's also for me the game I want to play and can play without worrying about cashing or getting in the way of points etc by accident (thats nto to say I'd make the points anyway but you know what I mean

I think the HORSE game will be carnage (for me at least personally) If I dont clear up on the TH rounds then I'm screwed for the razz or the hi/lo - infact last time I played I needed to clear up on the TH rounds to survive the others and even then was miserable

anyway I think its definately something all of us should play now and again if only to see how much more other games help
