New Deposit Option

Carbon Poker is now offer E-Checks to make deposits and withdraws straight from your bank account. This is great news for all USA. online poker players.

Ok, I just went to Carbon to make a $50 deposit. The carbon site CLEARLY says the minimum deposit for an Echeck is $50. the following is what happened to me when I tried to do that and my subsuquent conversation with Carbon's "live help":

villaridge: OK, MY REQUEST IS THIS: IF CARBON IS GOING TO WANT ME TO DEPOSIT, AND TELL ME THAT WITH THIS METHOD OF DEPOSITING I ONLY HAVE TO MAKE A "MINIMUM" DEPOSIT OF $50 AND THEN WHEN i GO TO DEPOSIT, I FIND OUT ITS , OOOOOPS, SORRY, IT IS A $100 MINIMUM . iF THAT IS THE WAY CARBON OPERATES, i WILL NEVER DEPOSIT AT CARBON. tALK TO YOUR SUPERIORS THERE TO SEND ME AN APOLOGY OR TO MAKE GOOD ON MINIMUM $50 OPTION

I'm sorry to hear that you had a big hassle. I just talked to live support they said it is $50.00 min. Although someone (you?) said a pop up said it was a $100.00 min. It does clearly say $50.00 min. Is Carbon pulling the old bate & switch? Scrawnybob what do you have to say about this deposit problem??

a min 50.00 is fair not 100.00
Havent made a real money deposit yet but if this is our experience i will not be making any real moey deposit with carbon for sure as i use e check It works well with poker stars

thanks ya'll for the moral support. If you go to Carbon, then the Cashier, then Deposit options, you will see the Echeck option and a clear "$50.00 minimum". so this is not a "pop-up" Oh well, I'm not gonna melt here, and I have a friend that knows a guy at Carbon.. so they are checking on it. But irreguardless, I haven't heard a peep from Carbon some 6 hours or so now. I am dissapointed.

I doubt that it keeps me from playing at Carbon, or finding a differnt deposit option, as I really love the whole look and feel of the Merge network, but it is very frustrating

Just a couple of hrs. ago I went to Pokerstars and used the echeck option to put $25 into my account, and no freakin problem. Then I went to "ewallet" and tried that, they imply that you can have funds instantly, but it turns out you have to first wait (the dreaded 5 business days), till your bank gives you the "exact" amount of ewallets charge ( I asked for $150.00, but ewallet will charge me anywhere from $149.01 to 149.99) so that I can then take the "exact" amount back to ewallet, before they will "confirm" my account.

Today is the first day that I have ever tried to deposit real money at any poker room. And I have had a very frustraring day. Pokerstars worked like a champ, but hehe, I don't play that much on pokerstars.
