In my opinion, the later a mtt goes, the more luck becomes a factor. If you have to put in 1/6th or 1/7th of your stack just to make a 3X BB raise, you better win that hand. If you cont. bet and then lose, you are pretty much SS. Unless I have a big stack, I get real selective and push when I do go. Figure if I can steal some blinds (they are usually big by now) I can maintain until the bubble, maybe double up if called. If you're playing that tight, usually nobody will call. And if you're being real selective, you should have a good chance to double up if they do. If you run into A's with K's or something like that, oh well, you would of prob. lost everything anyway. If I get A's or K's then I try to win a bigger pot sometimes, but even then I don't want to get sucked out on at that pt. My main goal is to get in the money. That's just my opinion, and I'm nothin special, so take it for what it's worth.
