Was 8th at the time with 5bb, 9th having 4bb left and... you always can count with ego bigstacks, 4 players have 6-10 times our chips (easy can sit back and watch), 2 of them go to fight, some one push with A3 the other call with AJ, A3 win , so now we are in the $20 and still was ahead of other, next hand other bigstack go to fight with 99 other call with AK, get my ticket.
Ha ha.... you gotta love it!! This is the thing about the players in those.... they are ridiculously stupid when it comes to game theory (notice in some forums they refer to these guys as 'satty bears'... they keep on slugging it out, unaware that they'd be far better off to sit back on their stack... take occassional shots at small pots vs. med.-sized stacks.. but instead they donate a huge chunk by doubling up other players &/or mixing it up with the other bigstack).
How different in play is the 50/50 satellite?, Not sure if see a $6 or $8.
I used to only play the $14+1 to the $55 Fifty-Fifty so I coudln't tell you what the play is like in the other ones (although they do only payout 1in9 or 1in7 as opposed to the better than 1in4 in the DoubleDeuce satty). Hmm.. might have to play a handful of those DD sattys... my FT bankroll is right in the crapper as I've been transferring out $'s at a far higher rate than I've been winning (haven't been playing on that site at all for awhile now, aside from a few priv. games).
