    Default Bottom 2 pair

I often over play bottom 2 pair. Wondering how other play em. I always try to bet big cause I don't really want a call by a bigger pair, cause it always seems that one of the cards I don't have pairs up giving the other player a bigger 2 pair. I know this isn't a common sit. cause you usually don't play 2 low cards, but it happens to me often in BB. Usually flop it, then push to try and take it, get called by top pair, and the board pairs, other than mine, I lose. How do you play it?

Sounds like you giving giving your opponents to much credit. or your table is just to tight
if its a cash table MOVE you can make more money else where
if its a SnG small ball and steals
if its a MTT defensive betting

I like defensive or block betting on all 3 game types if my image is tight,
if image is loose then your basically playing craps.

I really like bottom 2 pair especially with an Ace or King on the flop. I think any 2 pair is a solid hand on weak board like rainbow A-5-6. If you played 5-6 suited cheaply an caught both I would bet POT sized as one or 2 players may have an Ace and its hard to get away from. They could have hit Ace-rag flop unlikely but you want to make them pay to draw.It has happened to me as well that they hit a 2nd pair like an a J or Q in this example. But largely they don,t and the 2 pair holds up and is unexpected.
