Hi guys, I started of playing Hold’em and then moved to Omaha H/L. I love H/L great for tourneys, the fastest way to build your play chip money but horrible for low limit cash games. The frustration of the split, rake, lose got the better of me so I’ve stared playing Omaha straight.
I got tangled up in a hand last night which left me confused. Flushes are not in the equation, playing PL
Other player (Button) raise pot I call
Flop comes A 2 K
I have trip K’s, other player has 3345
I check, he bets pot, I raise pot, he calls
Turn 7
He checks, I bet pot, he raises all in, I call
River 9
I drag pot
I would consider the other player to be a reasonably tight player but his all-in seemed like a bit off a donk bet at the time so my question is how strong is trips against his hand? I have no idea of the pot odds for Omaha and if anybody has any links that could help me understand this game I would greatly appreciate any help.
