Very very Odd Razz hand ....

Just recently in a Horse leg of Razz i witnessed a very very strange hand.I took a screen shot but it has the names of some players we all know so it,s not necessary to post it anyway.Lets just say 2 players started decently but the cards went South.Now looking at Jack low,s each on board after 5 cards both players dug in and stood there ground.

OK,, to the point.I have never ever saw this before so I have never even given it a 2nd thought.What is the best hand when neither player has 5 indidual cards that are not paired.?? I mean 2 hands that paired up so badly that they even beat K-Q for LOW ??

Probably never even considered it. Well it,s goes next to lowest pair. And the player who paired the Aces won the hand.
But i so dumbstruck just watching it unfold,,,, Should have stayed in with my Jack low,, lol

I have never seen that either. It always seemed like no matter what-one player ended up with 5 cards not paired.

I often wondered why I had never seen a paired hand win. Now I know it does happen.

Its snowing out now... thats a little odd. But seriously I think one player had 3 pair and the other had a Boat.No-one had 5 running cards. So i guess next best is a pair of two,s after Aces and so-on.Very weird.I mean you look at the other players hand and you see best possible low showing on board can be a Jack before 7th street and you think a bet may do it but your hand is just as bad,,, lol. So now id forget it may have been a check down.I just remember looking at hand replay and it said winning hand is AA.s.

Hey RG Photoshop the names and post it. Or at least post what each hand was. One way or the other might help to understand what each player had.

Here's basically what I believe to be true if neither player has a qualifying non-paired hand:

There is no qualifier for the winning hand - even if a player has two pair, if it's the lowest hand on the table, it's declared the winner
