How to play badugi

I have read a lot of things about it on the internet but i still dont completely understand it. Could someone help me out.

The highest hand in Badugi is A-2-3-4 all of a different suit. You are aiming for hand with the lowest number cards all of a different suit. If u have a hand with 2 cards of the same suit then you can only use one and the lowest card is used but the other card is ignored so you have a 3 card hand same goes if you have 2 cards of the same number then 1 of the cards is ignored. If no one has 4 cards of different numbers and suits then it's whos got the best 3 card hand and so on. I like to play this one.

i just played my first game of badugi about 2 weeks ago. 30 mins before it started i learned the game and made a list of best hands. I finished 4th

i already know the rules but at the moment im not really aware how to play it.
is there somewhere a good site online available which explains the best strategies for badugi (best starting hands, when raise,...)

would be great if someone has some good tips available.

that said - virtually everyone who plays it hasnt got a clue whats going on so if you can get a handle on it then you could do nicely out of it

your best starting hand is something that looks like a sack of rags - as rags is what wins

badugi tip no1 - if you have a hand that looks anything like a hand - then you havent got a winning hand in badugi
