Default links direct to poker sites

hi Wesrman

thanks for the post - sorry I've had to edit it a bit as links direct to poker sites mean that players / possible signups that would track to us would get credited to the site direct and not to us if they followed any of those links and then tried to sign up via our links at a later stage

hope this makes sense

cheers scrawnybob

ps. also I'm not sure that sites would encourage wholesale lifiting articles from their site - dont mean to be a grouch but I dont want to get it in the neck as webmaster either

I used to only play nlhe too, but once i started playing other games i started to like them, so i think people should at least learn how to play them before just saying they dont like it....

hi wesrman

yep I definately agree I must start to get into more games and variations

would love to get a few different games going in our home games too - mix it up a bit

dont worry about the posting - I just have to try and keep things in order a bit without looking like a school matron ;-)

Default Merci!

Hello Wesrman,
I thank you for giving me this little course of the game "razz" but still not so easy to play.
I will still practice with friends before I start to a tournament.
It's nice to share your response to my questions.
Passing a good day, and perhaps soon to a tournament "razz" (lol)

Default Razz is cool but

I like razz its easy to understand but if you want something different go to ROYAL CARD ROOM and check out Telesina, Soko and Americana. They are all variations of stud played with a 32 card deck. One hole card and in these they vary in that some a flush beats a boat, an ace counts as 6 for a 10 high straight but my favourite is telesina where you have a community card after the 5 cards have been dealt, simple until then! Sorry guys if you are American cos they accept Americans.

Razz is probably the easiest of them all. All you really need with Razz is an understanding of the game (which doesn't take long) and a good memorization of what cards have been folded. Then add in some strategy and off you go.

that was a grate post man. I love playing razz as much as playing holdem, most of people are going to call me down with a 10 low most of the time.
I think the key to win the HORSE events is to play much better than the others on stud and razz, because most of the people can play fairly good omaha an limit holdem and not many of them plays solid stud and razz

Default yes...

I agree, its easy to take advantage of people in RAZZ during HORSE.
My favourite game right now is STUD. I hardly even play holdem anymore (except limit, in HORSE sit n gos) but im sure i will be back to it soon enough. It took me no time to start liking all games and now i cant get enough.
As far as RAZZ goes i would suggest only playing hands with 3 cards lower than 8 and thats sometimes even pushing it depending on your opponents up cards (even though there is no point necessary for a qualifying low).

R.I.P. Cip Reese... one of the best of ALL TIME..
