Super system 2 has a great section written by kid poker. I recommend all beginners to read that.

Thumbs up Razz/ 2to7

You can compare deuce to seven low draw to razz, but then the ace doesnt count as a low card, this is considerd a high card, the lowest possible combination you can make is 23457 , making you the deuce to six low.

It's a variant of razz, but then it becomes intresting since you cant make a low if you got a straight , so a straight becomes a high , which in razz doesnt apply , and a flush wont count either that would make your hand useless aswell . You cant make a high , since some would have said , why isnt the best hand 23456 this is because you would have a straight . And this would automatically kill your hand , unless your opponent has higher ... which would make him a **** if he still calls ... LOL ... Ok back to explaining low ball .

You cannot see your opponents hole cards , none of them ... Nor can they yours ... This seems a bit like 5card draw , it is a bit like it , but then here the lowest hand counts, ++ yep if it seems like 5 card draw your right , there are different betting rounds , where you can check , bet or even raise , depending on your hand , i would suggest with a made hand , lets say 76432 you want them to pay for the draws, so small or pot raising is a wise id to extract as much chips from your opponent for his draws... thats my point of view ... ok back to the game , if you pair up , lets say two 6sixes and you cant draw anymore your hand wont count as low if you have 23667 this will count as 1 pair sixes , and you can only beat hands that are higher then a pair of sixes, not lower , which i think gives you a very clear view of how deuce to seven low ball works ?

Hard work . I say stick to something more easy LOL !
