i also play badugi at carbon and its very excitin ( for me ) but is there a strategy for the game? if there is can someone help give me some pointers please i would like to be a better player...thanks
I have just started to really play this game. It's different and in the freerolls it's a bit of a challenge. It's not easy getting each suit and then when I do sometimes the cards are pretty high ones and I know more then likely I should fold.I like when sometimes I get lucky and get a badugi dealt to me.But the only way I think I will start to get half way good at it is to keep playing.

Definetly, the only way you can get good at anything is to practise lots and play more, I'm not sure if this is a good strategy or not but I try to stay away from any hand that i'll be forced to draw more than 1-2 cards. if i have a mid to high card of a suit that i need i don't muck it but wait to see if one of the ones i draw can replace it. That way your opponent will still think you are only one or maybe two cards away from a badugi. Another point is don't forget to pay close attention to how many cards your opponents are drawing, they might bet huge, but if they keep drawing 3-4 cards the are just a loose donkey. And ffs please watch to see if someone is a sitter, with so many people not understanding the game there tends to be alot of sitters in the carbon freeroll, I hate it when i fold to the one other player just to see them fold it to a sitter. Anyways good luck and if you see me at your table and I bet then just fold, please.
i tried playing this game but man i couldn t catch on i played like 3-4 freerolls on carbon but it really turned me off this gameso i stick to the ones i know and like like nl holdem stud ----- h/l razz and so forth badugi in my opion is a stupid game but that is one players thoughs
what the hell is Badugi....sounds like crap
i never heard from badugi before...but i would try it in next time...
you seem loving this version of poker
niiicceeee
Even though I am terrible at it I still play the fr's as much as possibe. I understand how to play it but this a razz I finally get the big hands I was asking for in nlhe.. They don't help there but it's still funny when I catch quads or a straight flush and have to fold them lol. It's a fun game and I'll keep playing it but don't think I could ever bring myself to buy in to a badugi game.
