What A Weird Name For A Game Lol I Like This Game Tho Never Played It For Any Real Cash Or Anything But I Played The Freerolls At Carbon They Have 4:15 Eastern Time Its Good To Get A Break From Holdem Sometimes

lol - I find badugi is a weird game with weird rules IMHO definately hard to get your head around if your not used to low ball games

Badugi is a very interresting game of poker. Not only does pairs count as 1 card, suited cars will also count as 1 card. Say you get 6 6 does will count as a 6. (trip and quads 6's will also count as 6)

The hand 6 6 5 will count as 1 card to, 6.


The best possible hand you can get is a badugi, rainbow hand . The lower your hand is the more chance to win the pot you get..

I recomend people to play it and try it out, it really does make you think and is a very fun game once you get the hang of it.

I played there at Carbon also,I went pretty deep playin' in that.
your right,is nice to get away from hold'em for what 2-3 hours..LOL

i have read the basics and they didnt mention the 66 as one card so that explained a couple losses I havge has. But i like it because it gets me away from holdem. different mind set and different thought pattern. good escape. just some thing tyo break things up and rest.

i love to play badugi but usually end up losing a good bit of money because dont have a good grasp on stradegy yet. Its like tripple draw meets razz meets?????????????????? love it but hate it all at the same time glad they dont play this on the site i deposit reg at or i would drain my roll faster than i care to.
