Default Limit is very bad poker

I think limit poker is very bad poker, cause all players keep raising and rasing, and it's sometimes very boring until limit does up to 50/100. limit is good in protection from bluff, but people playing on freeroll makes it very boring by keeping raising, no skill, just by ticking on raise box. better is pot limit tables, at least u can make tangible raise.

Default so true

i couldnt agree with you more. i usually do good in limit, even though i dont care for it. cause like you said , everybody keeps raising and raising even if they have nothing.

To be successful in limit poker takes far more skill than in no limit poker.

There is a reason that the same pro's keep winning the limit poker titles at the World Series.

Seven Card stud takes much more skill, and years, to master, than hold em.

If you are a good player you will win and then you don't think that it's boring.

Post Limit poker

Well , ofcourse it will be harder to bluf, and you will not get rid of your opponent that easy , he will even make the call with just air , or raise you like you say with nothing and keep reraising , till they river you with a miracle .

I do love limit razz, or stud. For the other games i dont really see a point in it ...

Doyle brunson even said no limit hold em is the only pure game out there.

Can anybody post a blog about how to play fixed limit, i dont seem to do bad in it, but i never but i mean never made a hand with ak to win , ye only 1 x i had ak high to win from 3 others i was shocked ... LOL

Position ? Raise >? limp ? Play able hand ? When to raise ? Will my 11 outs show up ? straight/flush draw with a pair .. two pair, straight draws ?
only flush draw ( over cards ) a k q ...
What''s the ideal way of being succesfull at fixed limit games.?

My problem :
Every time i raise AK suited or any ace suited, i miss the flop completly and when i limp , some joke wins with two pair 2 4 ..

Any good blog would be suportive for people that do play limit .

My advice check call is effective way of playing fixed, calling stations .
