jctm...what's the problem? the cards I want memorized have been seen by all players. There is no question of cheating ... just because some players take advantage of available technology doen't make them cheats.
glasst..many thanks for the link..I hope the cost doesn't scare me away.
The cost won't scare me away LOL. I'm pretty sure Jc is just trying to get some brownie points. I am reminded of the kids in school that would raise their hands at the end of class and say" TEACHER TEACHER.....YOU FORGOT TO GIVE US HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!" Like I stated more than once in this thread; my only intention in my post was to be helpfull and answer the question you actually asked.
I haven't used any of these programs for a long time so there may be conflicts with site software or god knows what else.

So I think that is a program that can be used without any problem in another sites, because the program only use available information for everybody.
About this issue I think you need any kind of help to "memorize" ALL cards if you wanna play stud in a competitive way (per example If you like those Sit&Go with money involved).
If you only wanna play freerolls then I think that jctm1988 system is good enough.
Yeah I agree fully with your stud mentality. Its always helpful to know that you have a better chance of a flush when you are three suited if no one else has your suit, but also I make the mistake of overbetting my flush when I have it and then miss that someone else is working on a flush in another suit with a higher kicker or everyone folds immediately and i lose potential winnings. I have also noticed that in stud, though there are seven cards the chances of a flush when you have four suited out of five cards are the exact same as a HOLD'EM game...And I am sure everyone here knows what happens to people who continue to pot bet flush draws in HOLD'EM. I prefer having two pair with a straight/full draw. Same methodology applies to your initial cards. If you are looking for fours and sixes make sure no one else has even one because then your chances of filling up your two pair go through the cracks quick.
You dont look at your own cards before starting with stud, this is a rule you first look at the board reall fast , so you can see every single card, but heres the deal , you dont have to rememorize every card, i can but you dont have to do that, just look if you see a card that you need to make your hand , ....
How do you know what cards you need to make your hand ... if you have not looked at your hand yet?
Im sorry to hear it wouldnt work. Like I said; make sure it's compatible before thinking of purchasing. I seem to remember that you need to have the stars software set up in default size and with the classic default theme and have the cards in 4 color deck mode. The software did work very well (one of my buddies owned the stud program, I myself had their holdem program).
I would like to take this oppritunity to challenge Jc to a heads up stud tourney on Full Tilt provided he has any money there. Hell.... I'd play in play chips if that's what it would take LOL. Anyone want to make a side bet that he wont go for it?
Dooish I was thinking you might try taking a deck of cards and laying them out face up on your desk and removing them as they were exposed in the hand. It might be alot of work but it might help you get a mental picture of what goes on.

So Jc I noticed that your strategy for stud is much like your style in answering posts. WHY THE HELL would you read the board before looking at your cards?? Are you really that interested in useless information that has absolutely nothing to do with improving YOUR hand?? could you really be that dense? If you really are that dense then once again..... IM CALLING YOU OUT!!!!! Heads up tourney at full tilt whenever youre ready. Lets play horse so you can show me how rounded and skilled you really are.
