I can never remember the folded cards in stud and feel this is a big disadvantage so does anyone know of a calculator?

Post Stud remember

You dont look at your own cards before starting with stud, this is a rule you first look at the board reall fast , so you can see every single card, but heres the deal , you dont have to rememorize every card, i can but you dont have to do that, just look if you see a card that you need to make your hand , if its out there 1 or more times , i suggest not much giving your hand a value since your cards are already out, you only need to keep track of the cards you need . or think your opponent needs after your playing . then again , if your on the flush draw and your holding 3 of the same suits, quikly check what your oponnents are showing , if you see 2 of your suit , i dont really would do much with the hand just then calling and hoping for 2 suits to come, and look if opponents dont have higher , or a full . stud is hard to explain you need good eyes with a some id of % ..

If you have any comments , or dont think this is the way to play stud pls advice me then ;-)

thanks jc, that's how I've been playing in FRs but I feel I need to know for sure my cards were not folded by another player, especially if I invest my own money.Feel sure these calcs are out there somewhere too.

Question Hard to explain

Good one, you want to be sure, that the hole cards your opponent had , the cards where you needed , in online poker i would say almost 90 % of the time forget it, cause you need to get a look at your opponent and think what he could have folded, or look at his expression and maybe pick up something when they are looking at your cards but know that you will never get the card you need, cause he folded it, it is hard to explain cause online stud you will have less chance to get the id of what is folded beside the cards that u have seen on the table, if you say its possible, then just say im the stud grand master, cause if everybody knew what cards where folded there would be one guy dominating every stud table in the world .

So stick to the board .

Well it was nice to hear jctm's explanation of stud strategy and memorization tricks..... but here is the answer to the question you were actually asking.

Online 7-Card Stud Inspector - Perfect Memory for Online 7-Card Stud Poker, Instant Stud Odds

For the record I neither sell nor profit from this software. I do however; recommend it. Make sure its compatible with the site you want to play on before purchasing.

how can that be construed as advertising?? I wasnt the one that started the thread. All i did was answer his question while you were busy trying to show everyone how smart you think you are.
If i broke a rule I am sorry! Delete my post and If I need to be banned for trying to be helpfull then I dont care If I am a member anyway. May common sense prevail.

See you at the tables.

jctm...what's the problem? the cards I want memorized have been seen by all players. There is no question of cheating ... just because some players take advantage of available technology doen't make them cheats.

glasst..many thanks for the link..I hope the cost doesn't scare me away.
