An example of a counting system:

Cappelletti Omaha Point-Count System

A critic against Mr. Hutchison system:

anyway I used a counting system only in the first two weeks when I started to play hi/lo. You have to use that only until you know the 4 cards strength for a moment of look. Then you have to calculate how many limpers are in, or if nobody you can start with 2-3 for low.. but the post-flop play is more exciting I think, and the more I have to learn on that.

Do a Google search on omaha poker starting hands. The results will give you all the information you're looking for and more. Also take a look at this URL: Omaha Holdem Poker Rules and Strategy Tips

Default hi/lo

Hi all, I have been playing hi/lo for 3 or 4 years now.
A few friends taught me a basic concept of the game .
but I have improved over the years. hi / lo is nothing like holdem
you have to know what could an can win your hand , sometimes i think
it not your hand you have to whatch it the other players. and sometimes knowing when to fold could save you a lot of pennys.

my view on hi/lo is never go in with a hand your not going to call all in
on if pushed.

(1) my favorite hands ( AK23) (AA2k ) A2kk) I prefer going in with set hands. suited if possible .

my meaning of set , is needing 3 for st, 3 for flush, 3 for high and 3 for low.

I don't put much value on pairs , or trips. anyone who plays hi and lo
knows st , and flush are to easy hit to through money away on those hands .
