    Lightbulb Sure i can help

Ill teach you some things i guess : .

Here's the deal , we all play primium hands, we start with jj's suited with a split and wired connector , the other hands are not even worth going in in the pot , unless your table is very loose ..

But i suggest you play these hands :
Starting with the highest order :

AAKK ( or simular with other suits )
    KKQQ
    QQJJ
    JJ1010

These hands you play no matter what happens preflop , unless pushed all in dont think you got a monster , you want to play it like it's pot limit, keep the pot small before seing the flop, let them be the aggresor .

For the other hands you'll play :

    Any wired AA ( meaning , AA33 )
    Any suited AA thats connected !!! ( meaning , AA46 )
    Any wired KK
Any suited thats connected !!! KK
Any higher pair then 88 that is wired , suited , or connected .
In that combination you would be fine .

( so not any aces with rag , believe me you only have aces then , it's hard to play aces in omaha if you dont have any back up cards or you flop nothing )

Oh and if you do flop nothing and only have aces, and somebody comes out betting , believe me , fold is a good thing in omaha .

If you flop nothing , but got a high pair in your hand, with no draws to a straight or flush , i would suggest laying it down if there has been betting..

If you flop two pair , try to keep the pot small , since this is a danger hand ,you lose usually to higher two pairs , or sets , straights , flushes and so on , if you do flop two pair and you got straight draw or flush draw ( high one , you can manage to stay in ) , if you got multiple two pairs , dont lay it down aswell till you see river, i dont say call a all in , keep the pot small . till the river . ( Multiple 2 [pair ? ? ) what >> lol that is like you got

Q7910 ( small pot entered , limped in .. ) called a small raise is fine , these hands i usually stay away from unless you feel the table is very loose this can be a good hand then , and the flop is 10Q7 . now you got two pair Queens and tens , or you got two pair Queens and 7vens or two pair 10's and 7'vens, either way if one of those cards come out again , you'll have a full house , which is a strong hand in omaha , and hold em ofcourse .. )

Keep the pot small , you dont want to be the aggresor pre flop , on the flop make your decessions,
Be carefull for if you do have a set, these hands you want to play till the river , but still keep the pots avarage, if the board pairs , still dont go over your head, if he has a higher set , or the quads you'll lose allot , so value it like if the pot is 450 , bet 300 , look out if they are not out for the flush ,, straight ,, full house, or higher ..

By keeping the pot small , and only calling there bets , you would do fine .

Flopping a joint , full house, flush , highest straight possible.
Which one do you think you may play aggresive ?
( Drawing to the joint ) Play for sure till river .
How do you play here ?

For this i cant suggest anything then to look how the table plays , are they loose , tight , tight aggresive , calling stations and so on , you'll have to adjust your style to it .

For Quads, and higher ... you wont need advice , go for it ! SLOW PLAY !

I think i have a other omaha hi blog posted about the hand sessions i played in omaha hi , pot limit . You can look at it and see which hands i played .. allot of them are kept out , but those where small pots ..
I got 3 sessions posted on the website you can check it out .

Good luck at the tournament bro !

Play with your gut! Watch for a lil while and see how others are playing.
(Are they betting high on a pair, betting high on a good hand, or just to get people to fold.....)
Just pretend you are playing 7 card stud, but YOU get to choose which 2 of the 4 pocket cards are going to play with. Good Luck! Let us know how you did!

    Default better late than never

Sorry I missed this in time, but anyone else in this situation should practice a lot. Good players know they might have to throw out a straight if there's a flush draw out there. In Omaha, flushes and full houses are very common, so don't overvalue your pocket Aces!

If you have a Badugi hand (4 different suits) you are in trouble, play extra cautious with the high cards in this situation.

    Post Used advice ?

Great to hear you atleast finished 32 , to bad you didnt win anything , did you go all in with the aa xx ?? , if so you didnt read my post correctly

It was connected only , you had 1 suit spades , just the aces and a rag jq , why is it rag jq ? why isnt it AQ or AJ ? cause you rather want to use the 2 aces together... which gives you the option to use jack or the queen if the aces dont come correctly , nor the suit..
And calling a all in with that hand doesnt mean your going to win cause you got aces in your hand , hard to explain why ... but my previous post most make sence i guess,

For the other time , if your going to play it again , try to stick to the hands i explained in the previous post , and : no call with aa raged , you can still lose with AKAK which probally is the best hand to start with , bouth suited . But if the flop comes down like you said , you only have aces , or kings and your opponent has the joint straight .

Hope this post makes my previous post more clear about how to play it.

Good luck the other time !
