Its a very fun game Lacy, and freerolls are a great place to learn the game. When you get to the point where youre comfortable playing for real money, i would just caution that they players will playa lot different. In a freeroll, you have 6/8 players in each hand hoping to get lucky. At a real money table, there will only be 2-3 people in each hand on average and they will have good sarting hands (3 good cards). This means with 4 cards left, they need to get help on 2/4 cards. If you start a hand w/ only 2 good cards, it will be very difficult to get the help you need on 3 of the next 4 hands.

Absolute poker has a 50 cent razz sng i think. If they do that might be a good intermediate step betwwen freerolls and "real" money. Good luck!!!

Well all good things must come to an end, and my ITM (In the money) streak in the Razz AP MTT's is no different. I had gone 8 for my last 8 getting in the money, usually top 7 out of 60 players or so. I went out in a huge pot where i thought I was going to triple up, instead my opponent's final card was the 5 that he needed to beat my 7 high with 6 high. Oh well, its poker. This streak over the past 2 weeks has helped me get my bankroll up at AP. My friends joke that bodog is the only place where I can win money, but in the past 2 weeks, I went from usually hovering around $20-$30 to $175. Good Luck All!

Very nice i play razz from time to time and just like you said in the freerolls there are alot of people staying in the hands but real money is different i find myself playing the h2h razz games at tilt most of the time.

Hi All,

I am not a fan of razz. I have played it several times, and I find it quite boring. If I need to I rather play a game of horse, which includes razz in it. That way, I find, I am not as bored as if it was just a razz tournament. Good luck to those of you that do enjoy the game, as it can be an easy money maker, since many players don't even know what it is.

Default Merge Network

Hi,

I noticed you mentioned the Merge Network, and that is one I am not familiar with.
Can you tell me which sites are part of that network. I just wonder if I have every played at any of their rooms. Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.
