    Default Razz

What a game. Pulling teeth may be the closest thing I can relate this game to. However, that being said, I have seen (whenever I play) players who are absolutely HORRID at this game (much worse than holdem where it just seems that everybody keeps getting better). A tip to live by if you play this game (and if you do, please enjoy taking money from the fishies).

Be wary of bluffing in Razz. Usually, players have pretty much the same hand that you see represented on the table, so it is foolish to keep raising the bets just to "keep the others honest." In the long run a strategy like that will cause you to leak away a lot of chips and end up on the losing end. Remember... patience is the watchword for Razz poker players

You obviously don't play Razz, if you can't bluff you will lose money at Razz. I expect around 60% of hands are won by bluffing, it's the chasers with counterfit cards who lose money who don't pay attention to folded cards and are hoping to hit either the a 5 or 6 without even knowing there's only one of each left in the deck.

I love when the fish have trips showing and they keep right on calling. Razz is VERY much a luck based game, because the fish keep calling then sometimes they get lucky and take you down...

I kind of like Razz I guess if I played it more I would like it. It's just hard to get used to and to like as well as holdem.

Playing good razz is relative if you want to do well at high-low games like Stud 8 and Omaha 8.

That said, i really enjoy razz! If you think razz is evil, try playing 2-7 draw and Badugi!

I'm actually looking to broaden my poker horizons and razz is definitely a game i'm not very knowledgeable on. If anyone knows any good sources of info on eazz, i'd appreciate it.

You know I like this game when winning is with the lowest hand, cause that's all I ever get is the lowest hand. Except when it comes to the low str8, cause I can never hit that.

I love razz. To be good at it you need to be aware of what cards have been dealt out, and be able to read your opponents boards. Most times I can look at what you are showing and know if I'm beat or if I've got you.
