What casinos in LV will host a private table?

I am having a group of guys in Las Vegas soon and we are staying at the MGM. We would like to have our own poker table with a house dealer, etc., and would pay the rake of course. Does anyone know if this is possible and/or which casinos will do this?

Luxor and Excalaber both would for Black Jack at one point. i think there was a minm you needed for the table. $$ not people.

I'm pretty sure the Excalbur would as they have around 5 empty tables at just about any time of day. The lowest stakes are 50c $1 with a $25 min buyin. They are however those electronic tables so no dealer and no chips to play with.

electronic tables.... no thank you. i will stay home and play on the internet if i wanted to do that! (also ive tried the electronic tables on a cruise ship and kinda sucky)

anyway, we ended up playing at the Mirage and I talked with the poker room manager and voila! no problem! they just asked what time approx we would want a table and what limit, how many players, etc. We had 7 guys, played 3-6 limit and they just filled the other seats from the board. The started a table for us no problem. Mirage is the shiz!

Luxor will host a private table but there is a minimum buy-in. IF you have enough people to fill a table, suggest going to one of the smaller casinos and tell the host you'ld like to start a new table. If you make it worth their time, they'll probably do it. If you're staying at MGM, Trop or Hooters may do it. Good Luck! I've got another suggestion and it's something we do, have everybody play in a regular tournment, but put a bounty on each other. You get bragging rights by knocking out your friends ad may be able to make more money playing in a larger field. One time 4 of our group made the final table.

I was in Vegas in June and Binions allowed 'us' to have a private poker tournament.

I don't know all the finer details of the hows or whys or what Binions requested for this tournament to go ahead as I wasn't involved with the organisation of it though.

What I do know is that it took alot of organising and planning which I believe was done well in advance of us arriving.
