The best poker site would be at your local casino!!!!! Otherwise Ill play the smaller merge networks of Poker/Carbon and shoot the fish in the barrels.

i only tried pokerstars which is quite ok. for me the best site to play at (but to be fair, i didnt try many other sites).
dont know if anyone of you ever tried to play at raisingcards .. its an insider tip - a small poker room with low traffic, but nice promotions (100% deposit-bonus, a nice rake race) and a lot of deposit-methods even for us-players.
also the main traffic is at us-primetime which may be good for you (for me its not that good, as i am an european player)

i played in many online poker games and with all of my experience i can say that full tilt poker is the best online game and ill tel you why.
full tilt is very simple to understand and you can learn the many kinds of tournaments very easilly.
in addition full tilt poker got the FTP sit&go tournaments that you play and if you win some you can get from them many nice gifts and accessories.
FullTilt charge too much rake at lower levels, whereas PokerStars charge no rake at all on a lot of their micro MTTs and SNGs

Poker Stars is the real deal. The variety of tournaments and cash games available are almost limitless. You can pick a game any time of the day. An event begins literally every minute to choose from. As for live cash games even better. From beginner micro limits to the high stakes professionals, it's definitely soup to nots.
It seems that I have a different "favorite" poker site every 6 months or so. LOL --- Recently my favorite poker sites are Merge sites: Carbon Poker, Nordica Poker & Reefer Poker. I particularly like the software and the variety of games like Horse, Stud h/l, etc.
