Being Backed

Has anyone had any experience in getting backed for online tournaments? Nothing like main event tourneys but just like the 20k on stars everyday.

I personally haven't been staked which is what you are talking about. But I have staked others at absolutely no cost to them if they won they kept the prize. I would rather win with my own funds than use money from another to have to pay back.

I only staked others to give them the chance to build a bankroll without having to do it the hard way like I did. I freerolled my way to bankrolls on all the sites I play on. I used my some of my winnings to stake learning players and some people I played with in other tourneys. It was sort of a pay it forward type thing.

Usually when someone stakes you they are taking a huge cut if what you win. Afterall you are the one spending your time to play why shouldn't you reap the whole reward when you do cash.

i usually get staked once a week in some tourney, about it,, wish i could more since i usually do well.

You USUALLY get staked? That is really cool. Who do you get staked by? Another website? What do you give them in return?

In another forum, I won a series of tournies to which the extra prize was a 50 dollar stake to a tourney on ap. That was cool, however i bubbled, like 20th and 18 paid , which sucked but I still enjoyed the experience. Recently, I staked a friend for a series on reefer, small buyins, and he ended up winning 3 times his stake back plus he won entries to two more games. I was repaid, with a lil bonus. sweet deal for both of us.

No I haven't.. but then it wasn't untill recently during back and forth pm's with you on another forum that I became aware that some people want to set up a network of players and collude using Skype either.
