I was playing in a freeroll last night on Tilt. Out of the blue someone just starts typing.

jews killed 200 kids already

i need a plane
and a box cutter

How do you guys deal with this kind of stuff. Myself i was kinda pissed off.
I told the guy to leave his crap out of the game, and play cards or go to hell.
he may have just been trying to tilt the table,and get everyone mad. but this kinda shit is uncalled for.

I did report him to Tilt, and i have never reported anyone for chat abuse. i just thought this guy went to far.

You did the right thing by reporting that moron. The only other thing to do is just ignore them, unfortunately for me i don't know how to ignore these type of idiots. I will give them a piece of my mind and start to give them a verbal ass kicking, Maybe someday i will learn but until then the onslaught will continue.

I was playing on a FTP tourney and some guy kept saying how he stole the password, it was a private tourney. So of course it bothered me and I asked on the site if anyone knew him. Of course I got a few replies and they said he is famous for doing this and it was purposeful to throw you off your game. Then I went to his home page and saw that he was proud of this and boasted his ignorance. So, OK, I learned my lesson and now when I see people chatting a lot or making rude comments, I instantly block their chat. My game has acctually improved!!!
As for the jerk, he acctually should be reported to the FBI, he would have a life changing experience and quite the invasion into his life, house, and computer. Wouldnt he be surprised. Ha Ha.

If this was a private tourney and you were able to see his home page, then he should be reported to both the poker site and the forum administrator with this information.
Chat abuse should always be reported - as well as blocking their chat (if you wish).

If someones mouthing off at a table I often just egg them on to see if I can't put them on tilt haha. The biggest wankers are the ones who lose a hand thanks to bad play and then claim that because they're no good at poker the site must be 'rigged'. Naturally I'm all to happy to let them know what I think of them haha

maybe these poker sites should try to implement a chat system like they do on some online video games.were you can right click there names and put on ignore.then they can type all they want and you will never see what he says

I love it when a player loses a good starting hand to a lesser one when the flop goes against them and the call you an idiot for calling the hand. I had one player chase me all night after I knocked him out, I just turned off his chat and reported him. Some players don't understand the KK or ? does not always look so good after the flop.
