The poll could use further options. I don't use it but I don't think it's cheating, but there is nowhere to vote.

On most sites you can see your opponents mucked cards by viewing the hand history.

I agree the poll needs more options. I've never heard of it so no I haven't used it and can't really comment on if it's cheating or not lol

i don't use it. but if the poker sites are going to allow you to use it. i don't think its cheating. poker tracker and holdem manger are mostly used by players that multi table,
to help with reads, and to keep your own stats to find holes in your game.

if your playing 1 or 2 tables at a time you don't need it. you should learn how to make reads on other players on your own. for a multi tabler its a must have.

plus they say that players that rely on PT and Holdem Manger to much are hurting there game, and not developing as poker players. its just a tool to help with your game.

I have read that as well.
I dont use any of them I dont think they help my game.
If it's not cheating it's got to be sharp practice! and if you look at peoples ROI they ant that good a poker player anyway.

I can see people's mucked cards on FTP & Stars by reviewing the hand history. Do I think it's cheating? NO

But I guess for someone multitabling to earn a better hourly rate why not. But as someone else said if ur playing 1-2 tables I dont see a need for it.

In fact in Poker Stars you can get all the statistics you need, and cut and paste them into an excel sheet, so what’s the point in spending the dollars buying some sort of posh “excel” sheet 50 to 80 $$$.

IMHO it doesn’t matter if it is or it isn’t, any thing that’s gives the impression of gaining an advantage by spending some money is always going to be counter productive to trade, in a “climate of difficult trading conditions”.

If I owned the software house I would be actively seeking some sort of relationship with the poker providers instead of the punting public.

is cheating?, yes, because you use outside help, is like have another person aside you in a life game that is telling you how other players are playing, is not legal.


If you are playing in a real casino some poker game and you take out any device that let you have some stats of the players in real time, or give you any lead ahead is illegal, and you are take out of the casino in the moment

Why is not illegal the same thing online?.

In matter of fact it is. Fulltilt and stars have the list of illegal programs.

That a lot of people use it, is another thing
