I recently got Poker Tracker. It is very interesting. I think the ethics of it are just fine. after all, it is just a super duper note taking system. It only collects data on people you play.

As far as it helping my game, I don't know yet. Most of the data I see just confirms what I thought about hands and players, to begin with, lol

Also, it only supports PS and FT ( and a bunch of european sites I can't play), two sites that I really don't play at much. But I am looking forward to learning how I bet in what position with what hands, once I get more data of my play into it. Also I like the graph that shows my ROI% for all of my games at the site. It is nice to chart my progress. So, my FT roi is 58% and my ps roi is -29%. but lol, I knew that already just looking at the cashier balance, lol.

On the HU display on the other players, well, I am still learning what all the stats mean. I know some people have told me that it is cheating in a way. But I don't think so. It is allowed by PS and it is just an advanced note taking system. No one faults an exec for hiring a secretary to take notes and organize information.

I use to use Poker Office, I still lost a lot of money on the net ( a few years ago now)

I really believe that none of them give you an edge or help you win money.

The only thing I believe is some thing the Gypsy wrote on a diffrent web site, about BANKROLL Management. That did help my game and I started winning MONEY.

You cannot play 12 cash tables at the same time without a program like that. You need to know (at least) the villain stats to make the correct decisions.
You cannot just remember the style of play of hundreds of different players, and take notes isn't enough.

Isn't the same if a player with IP$VP/PFR 40/25 raise your blinds from UTG than a player with just 9/3. In the first case probably I will reraise with AJ, AQ or TT and in the second probably I just call or even fold, but you need to know that stats.

As i said before, i would like to try one as i downloaded many of them through the mule, but i can't find any good tutorial in my own language, and the one in english seems really dark to me as the softwares themselves. I probably don't really need it as i mostly play always the same players through different private games, but i would use it, as Luz do, if i have to play more which ain't my purpose yet.

The only "complaint" I have about these programs is that they show ALL the mucked cards. This I believe is far more advantageous than vpip ect. Once you know for eg that plarer 5 will raise mid pos with AJ AQ but will fold to a big reraise fearing AK or a coin flip to a pp, it's effectively cheating. You have a distinct unfair advantage and I think in honesty they should be banned. I appreciate what Luz is saying about multi-tabling, but if you need a program to keep track of other players moves, play 1 or 2 tables. You can't muli table in a casino so why should you online? Mucked cards are mucked cards, try looking at them in a casino and exit on a stretcher.

i dont have alot of live play expierence, but i believe in a casino if your river bet is called and u win the hand and the caller mucks....you can ask to see the mucked cards and they have to show you... live players correct me if i am wrong but i dont think i am
