Default Will Online Poker Finally Be Regulated And Licensed In the United States ?

    hi all

light at the end of the tunnel for online poker in the US ?

Will Online-Poker Finally Be Regulated And Licensed In the United States ?

Possible good news from Barney Frank for online gamblers within the United States - the UIGEA regulations may be included in the list of “midnight regulations” that the current Congress will look to rescind.

    cheers scrawnybob

The USA is in such financial turmoil with what appears to be a full blown recession that the money that could be generated by making OL poker/gambling legal and regulated could almost single handed put the USA back in the right direction. Politicians should realize that its almost impossible to stop OL poker/gambling.

Now that that idiot Bush is gone it appears there is a real chance to get some rational legislation for online gambling. Lets hope it makes the playing field more level.

Poker Player :: Articles :: Can the Poker Player’s Alliance Overturn the Bans on Online Poker?

Read this Lou Krieger article for more insight. It appears that both Democrat Speaker Pelosi and Democrat Attorney General Holder side with former president Bush. I'll add that both powerful Democrat Senator's from California oppose online gambling, Oh ya, the Democrat head of the Senate, one Harry Reid, has opposed online gambling. He'll flop like a dying fish if the big casino money wants this. THere is still a big uphill battle for USA poker players.

I am sooooo ready for the government to start using common sense on this issue, and regulate it so that I don't have to worry about what will happen with my money....and so that I can continue my poker addiction....LOL

Their strong point is promising a lot of things before they are elected, and then strangely forgetting about a lot of them after they have been voted in.

Q: How do you know when a politician is telling lies?

    A: Their lips move!
