    Default Losing streaks ?

Got a question for ya'll,,, Most ,if not every month, I come out a head. This month I've been on a losing streak that won't end. Bad beat after bad beat, ya'll get the idea. I know losing streaks are part of the game and I've gone through them before.

My question is, when it's this bad , do you play through it or do you take a few days off?

If you have any imput please let me know how you handle this.

    Thanks and take care

Im Definitely a big fan of self-exclusion when that happens, because when u get inen that kind of routine theres only one thing thats going to happen, u are going busto. So when that has happened to me i take a week off, hang out with friends do some sports and try to forget about the game. Every time ive done that it has worked pretty good. Theres one important thing when u are losing keep within your bankroll !! That will be the difference between dropping a couple of buyins or going broke.
I want more FTP SERIES !!! PLEASE !!

I usually find that when having a bad run on one site then there is another that i start to run hot on you just have to work through them, but if it is gettin you down then take a break.

I know where you are coming from because my streak is longer. I have reduced my play quite a lot, only entering the lowest limit games and tourneys (thereby reducing the percentage of my bankroll in use), and even though I have disliked freerolls in the past, have been looking at sites to see if I can find tourneys with not too many entries. By playing freerolls, even if you lose and your streak continues, you will not lose any money, and will probably be able to spot when your luck is changing for the better. If this still doesn't work, then it is best to take time off and relieve the frustration.

A mistake made in the past is not as important as the lesson learned from it.

I have an opinion and my answer, I would take a couples days off then come back to it. It seems when that happens to me, I believe I have spent too much time and energy in my games. I have too from time to time back off and do other things and come back to it. Then it seems like the cards just start rollin' in my favor again, Maybe this advice will favor you as well. Thanks, MINI

Streaks are a big part of gambling. It is almost impossible to play poker long term and not go through swings of long winning and losing streaks. However, regardless of the streak you're in, it is essential that you play your game and do not get too creative and risks losing unnescessary money trying to make plays. Either way, limit your play and manage your streaks.
When at the tables, play for the love of the game and show respect for your opponents.

Evreyone goes through bad and good runs, thats why its importany to learn about bankroll management.

Even the Pros can go on long losing streaks but because they understand good bankroll strategy they can usually survive it

Worse thing you can do is to try and start chasing your losses. Probably best idea is take a break and maybe think if you are playing differently than you was before

I take a few days away from poker myself . Helps me to clear my head and forget about the bad beats and come back a little refreshed and ready to play..

I would certainly take a few days off, not much point in playing if you're not going to have much luck, you will only lose money which won't really help you.
By taking a few days off you can relax and rethink your game.
