If you thought those poker sites that were caught were the only ones your out of your mind. They are all rigged. Any professional programer can tell you that. I could sit here and rail off all the data you want, but suffice it to say, think of online poker as a slot machine. Back in the day a programmer working for the game commission designed code within the slot maching EPROM which allowed him (through a certain set of coin combinations) to rig the unit to allow him to win. Online poker works much the same way. They tell you there are so many variables that it is impossible to predict the outcome of the game. That is a complete and utter lie. However, these days it is no one person that will admit to knowing the outcome of the cards, but there are some subtle 'alterations' to the hands. It is almost impossible to detect, but they do exist. Ever wonder why, when your playing free money, it seems the cards just magically hit for you, or you seem to get a lot of nice hands. This is what is called enticement. It is enticement for you to put up some of your money. When you do that, you'll notice that early on you seem to win. This is wetting your whistle. It is designed to sucker you in, basically winning is like a high, and these companies know that. Next thing you know, your asshole (just like in the real card game). Now you start loosing, loosing with good hands to weaker hands, power hands the mysteriously get beat by a weak hand. You get frustrated and you take a break. They know however, you got the I want to win bug, so they just wait. They know you'll be back, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not even in a year, but you'll be back.
The online gaming industry is designed to take your money and keep you playing. There is an obvious pattern to it. Win a little, then loose a little. It is designed to give you a taste, then take back your winnings and maybe 1/4 to a 1/3 of your own bankroll. Then they will throw you a bone and give you some back, but not enough to break even (if they did you may cut your losses and run). Then afterwards they will slowly bleed you, with miracle flops against you, or dealing you lousy cards for a long period, only to deal someone next to you a MONSTER. Trust me the online industry is baiting you to keep fronting your money. If you don't believe me. Those that have realized this just say so in this thread. How many times have you been on significant wins, only to get wiped by those soo called miracle flops against lousy hands, or those that play very good poker, sitting there waiting to get a playable hand, and have watched as you got dealt 2/6 7/2 three times in a row. Then when you finally get a great hand, your against a monster hand like pocket aces, or even a low pocket pair, which hits either on the flop, or the river. Trust me gamers, if you think this is because of large number theory, your deluding yourself. Take it from me and a fellow programmer that did this line of work.
