Does anyone else think of this as cheap? For me it defeats the purpose of playing. I know its not "really cheating" if it is allowed, but its close in my book. I'm not judging those who currently do it, but just sayin....

Not really. I can definitely play without it. THe only real reason I have it is so I can multitable with ease, especially when I have to make a tough call/laydown and have 4-8 windows open.........

I will say that since I've been using PT3 I have become a much better player who is much more aware of my surroundings. I've also review so many sessions and hand histories. Those are things I did not do before and those things are making me a better player.

The biggest cheats in poker are the pokerrooms that charge as much as 30% for a low stakes game.

I think most players multi tabling cash games use PT or similar especially those not playing low level recreational type poker. It's an edge you must take because everyone else does.

I have it three years but seldom use it owing to my poor internet speed but I only play low level games.

Just because something is rampant or popular doesn't make it right, in fact it gives us more cause to look at it. Don't go near bridges and persuasive friends.

My B, that's what I get for being sarcastic. The first names were references to famous Steroid takers during the period of baseball which has been nicknamed the "steroid era" because almost everyone is/has been taking them. Everyone wanted "the edge" so everyone took steroids cuz everyone else was. I'm saying this is a dumb excuse. "I'm doing it because everyone else is..." I'm saying that just because it is popular doesn't make it right.

The second misunderstanding was the bridge part where the old saying goes "If your friends jump off a bridge would you do it?" And as I said that because everyone else is doing something, doesn't mean you should necessarily be doing it. So don't go near bridges with friends who might persuade you to jump... because you are easily persuaded by others... apparently.
