just to clarify before everyone starts running round like headless chickens screaming the sky is falling down ...

from what I've gathered the poker rooms have said they will be making sure the affected player withdrawls are honoured via another withdrawl method ... so in effect any of the frozen money has been covered by the rooms and players wont be affected

also things are still currently unclear exactly what the DOJ actually thinks has legally allowed them to do this - presumably their wrong interpretation of the wire act

as far as I can work out its ONE payment processor and both the rooms affected - pokerstars and fulltilt are covering the seized amount and getting payments to players via another method

my utmost respect to full tilt and pokerstars for being there for their players. maybe one day our government will show its loyalty to us. i thought we were headed in the right direction, i would love to hear about a lawsuit against the people who froze the accounts. it seems they may have been in the wrong by their actions.

I have heard thru the OL poker grape vine that Pstars & FTP has suspended the use of E-Checks, have not seen anything in the articles ive read thus far.

I have read numerous articles and am still not clear on who's accounts the U.S DoJ is targeting Is this a state to state issue like the Kentucky freeze a while back.

I love the USA. but damn it if this kind of stupid shit dont piss me off.

Every day on MSNBC, FOX News Network CNN etc..... you hear more and more of child abductions and other heinous crimes here in the states. If the politicians would put as much energy in to preventing these type of felonious crimes as they seem to put into derailing something as harmless as playing a little OL poker, the USA and the World would be a much more harmonious place to live.

The problem with the politicians is that they are so worried about losing a few votes and being kick off the gravy train they are all riding and start to think about what might be best for the country (USA) and the citizens, and fix the national deficit etc... instead of selfishly putting themselves first would just be to difficult to comprehend for most of them.

Heaven for bid if the politicians would have to go get a real job and work for a living.

What i find strange is that the US wants to outlaw online poker but at the same time has the live WSOP on in Vegas.If gambling is so bad why allow it?
Is it something to do with tax?
How can FT and Stars still carry on when Ipoker/Microgaming/Party have been forced to leave the US market

This is crazy!!!!!!!! Online poker can help the US with its debt if only the politicians would wake up!!! Tax it and get on with it!!!!! It seems to me they have better things to do......like catch terrorists!!!!!!!!!!!!
