Default Do you think this was collusion?

I was just playing a Double or Nothing SnG on an iPoker skin and the player next to me had hardly any chips, but kept getting really lucky and hanging in there, usually at my expense. I had just lost AQ to 57 and then this hand happened

    GAME #-1856324567: Texas Hold'em NL Tournament 2009-08-10 19:48:53
Table "Turbo" $1 NLH Double Up, 329568231, 2862644811 (Tournament: "Turbo" $1 NLH Double Up Buy-In: $1+$0.20)
    Seat 1: nb1603 ($925.00 in chips) DEALER
Seat 3: Bra***** ($590.00 in chips)
Seat 6: Gri*** ($5,665.00 in chips)
    Seat 8: ******* ($1,820.00 in chips)
    Brai******: Post SB $200.00
    Gri***: Post BB $400.00
    *** HOLE CARDS ***
    Dealt to nb1603 [C4 D2]
    *******: Fold
    nb1603: Fold
    Bra******: Call $200.00
    Gri***: Fold
    *** SUMMARY ***
    Total pot $800.00 Rake $0.00
    Brai*****: wins $800.00

The lucky one in red the one the bothered me in blue. After folding his BB he said "I hope that helps" Needless to say I was next out and missed the money.

So sick. I think this can go as collusion?!! So you might want to send the hand nr. and chat log to support

I can't say it's collusion cause he may place the other player on a hand and as he's only looking for bubble, he may want to escape hitting some cards and being involved in a hand that could cost him chips. It might only come from the fact is a DoN SnG, but i'm not sure of that as i don't know how he acts before and after this hand. But, that could also be somekind of collusion if they ever share many games altogether. Were the 2 ones from the same country?

Anyway, i keep on thinking that DoN don't really help to improve poker play, as it tends to diminish players skills, IMO. Only thing that you can learn while playing DoN, is to deal with bubble time.
BTW, i would never suggest anybody to play that kind of game, just as turbos or rebuy/addons tournaments either. Probably cause it don't suits my play usually.
Good luck at the tables Neil.

PS: I know that sometimes DoN could be a good way to double-up small BRs and i will have to give them another try sooner or later, but the later would be the better.

well, without proof of IM chat, or proof of the 2 on the same IP address, throwing a collusion charge out is unwise.

Look, its a DON game, and Gri*** was massive chipleader. Probably sitting out, or didn't care, hell he's in the money for sure, no matter what happens

I've emailed the hand history to Blue Square the iPoker skin I was playing on.

He was sat in and playing, and his comment about "I hope that helps" and a further comment when I challenged him at the table will all be in the chat log that iPoker can see. I have asked them to investigate. They have been very quick in replying that it will be fully investigated, so they appear to be taking it seriously. I don't care about the money it was minimal it's the principal of it all it just annoyed me.

    Default hmm

hard to say i seen so many bad players over the years but its certainly possible.

At least when notified there taking it serious.

Online is so tough to spot such things.

unless your watching cash games some members are so obvious they do dumping on heads up table only to be spoted asnd have there accounts blocked within minutes of the act.

    haha

I would of reported it.Like you say it's not the money it is what was said after Gri folded.
They may not of known each other but you know nothing of their pass history at the tables. They may play on a lot of tables together.
Bri only had 590 chips and 400 of those were already in the pot.Gri should of put Bra all in, it was only another 190 chips to do so.

2 days ago I saw a hand between 2 players from the same country. It was a 5 card draw game. Raise, rerariase, reraise. Each changes 1 card. Show down: both have nothing - high cards only. I try to solve if it was a collusion. Collusion on 0.10/0.20$ stakes?
