    Default easy teaser

i was playing a cash game on pokerstars when i was in a hand once the river came there were 5 cards for a str8 on the board 10 - ace ....there was no flush draw out and obviously no paired board. I raised with 1 other play in the hand.

to follow the bad run i was on i lost out on this hand without the hand EVER been folded

    How????

Probably some omaha hand with unuseful cards in your hands.
Let's say you had: 7d7c8d9c and you hit the lower str8.

sorry should of added it was texas holdem

as for hand history this is long gone....but all info u need is in my message.

Note i was originally going to just complain about something which happens and will continue to happen as personally i would say the reason for this happening is a complete lack of common sense.

really its a simple answer but ensure u read properly what i have stated with NO assumptions.

i never lost the hand like i said i lost out in the hand....as the robbing asssssses still take ur rake bearing in my i should imagine this position very often becomes an allin.
The pot was about 8 bb by the river so we both ended up losing more in rake than what was in the pot

i went all in first...had i of been the calling player i like to think i would have realised
But what i could do is just comment saying i am going to push allin u will lose more in rake than u gain so dont call.

Purely thru been first to act i have a advantage....this does not mirror live poker and like i said originally i was gonna complain i HATE losing out on split pots its RIDICULOUS

Lesson learned with the rake in ring games. Your best bet would have been to just check the hand down and break even. By raising, you increased the size of the pot and cost yourself valuable coins at the table.
When at the tables, play for the love of the game and show respect for your opponents.
