Should I grab the special one time offer of 3 days in Vegas training on multi-table online tourneys for 3k? If not what is a better place for online Multi-table poker training thats a little cheaper thanx.

Wat?? It's called coaching, look into it if u will ever want to play above 25nl.
And 300$ for 1 week is cheap. Usually a good coach goes for 200-300$ an hour. But in that hour you will learn what you would have learned in a couple of months playing and probably loosing more than that at the tables.
Op, google cardrunners or deuces cracked. No Vegas but you will get all the information (videos) you would ever need for under 100$/ month .

The game is based on math but to succeed at anything higher than 25nl you have to have a very deep understanding of the game and to know some of the concepts that apply at the higher stakes. I'm sure you are not very aware of the whole coaching industry and of the fact that the majority of players got coaching at some point or another, to step up their game.
If you want to go from 50NL to 400NL you have to get coaching otherwise you will not be able to beat the games. And trust me, it's a very very big step. Basically this coaching thing helps you to skip some levels and some time (couple 100k hands/level if u are good) You say math.. put at those levels poker is more than raising AQ and folding 10 3. More than some simple pot odds or implied odds.

I understand what you are trying to say in ur post: If he's so good why doesn't he make 10x more money by playing? Thing is games have changed and alot of the ppl that were good in the old days (5000nl on Party) can't beat the game anymore, even though they have ton of experience and knowledge. But that person won't try to teach you how to beat 1000NL. You will learn how to beat 25NL, 50NL or maybe 100NL is he's still any good.

so this course puts u thru all the scenarios in poker or puts them into a basic format which covers all scenario's and also explains how to change ur game with a game which will always be evolving or re-adjusting mayb a better term????

if this is taught in a format that u can learn and remember in ur head then every person who has been on this course holds info that is worth 3000 dollars per buyer.....so if he dont teach u huge stakes u mayaswell go and sell the SYSTEM urself at a bargain basement price of 1500 dollar.

whos involved was it a guy who won 1 tourney (please advise if im incorrect as ive never heard of this guy until now) strange considering if ur teaching u must be 1 of the GREATEST OF ALL TIME???? he'l be the only intelligent guy who ever see's his system.

pple cash in on game which has no definative structure - ie metagame did u mention b4?? they put a term on gaining info from other hands.....And think adding a term to it makes it innovative - PAtronising do u not think??? but they dont care they cash in somewhere.

if u think u can win with a call 1 in 6 times and u are getting better than 5 to one its worth calling bcos altho the chances r u wont win over time u will profit.

out of interest i assume u have had some form of teaching??? if so could u please advise on 1 (only 1 unless u want me to transfer funds on pokerstars for this PRICELESS INFo)of the things that u have been taught about the strategy of the game which doesnt fall under common sense.....or u could not find for free on the internet or from a book even.

This thread was making me bust out laughing, only because of the million and 1 differant books and things that are out there to make us all better at what ever it is we do. There are like a gazzillion books and systems on how to win at the horse races alone, but my thing is if ANY of these things really worked why would you bother trying to sell it to others when you could keep it to yourself and rake in the cash? Unless you just happened to have this giant heart and want to help out the world, but i don't believe thats why....i think its because people are generally lazy or competitive and we want it all as easy as it can be gotten, and i am 1000% guilty of this so therefore we are always trying to cut corners or get an edge to beat the next guy, but sadly i don't think many of those "Do as I DID" books and seminars really do much more then cloud your jdgement and take your cash.

I don't know if OP was talking about a seminar or 1-1 but I was talking about online poker coaching. That means You + Coach. There are different ways of doing it. He can sweat you while you play and tell you what you should do or what you did wrong. After the sweat you can talk on skype and give you all the advice he thinks it's appropriate. Another thing he can do is have a look at you database and tell you what are ur bigger leaks and how to correct them. So Petey, it's not about a book you read that promises you to make 100k/ year. Read my other post again to understand where I'm coming from.
