what do u believe is ensential to profiting sit n go's

Hi all,
I have played online poker for around 5 years for the first few i profited within months of playing.....up until around 12-18 months ago where i am not losing but prob breaking even for the life of me i cant see y.


i have never used any additional software and feel tho its an unfair advantage but as there appars to be plenty out there i would like ur views on what u think is ESSENTIAL or a BIG HELP to increase profit.

Well, not everyone because I don't even know what those initial mean. Could you please elaborate?

Yes explain ?? I have never used any additional S/W either. But answering the first Post do you think your not winning as often because players are using addditional S/W?? Or maybe more players are just improving and maybe your game has not advanced to the next level ?

to answer last post i have no idea although to critique my own play i cant do as obviously i play a way i see fit.

U see alot of donkey play people been way to agressive to early over bluffing etc etc
like i say i profit as soon as i learn and should of only grew but this is not the case 9 man sit n go pokerstars 6.50 if only one player loses out that would leave a profit of
6 dollar shared between 8 remaining players (50c entry fee) would give 75cents - 50 cents entry fee leaving 25cents profit how can i not achieve this????

i feel as tho i have edge on donkeys but am getting out smarted by much better players as i am no longer profiting yet i very naturally and quickly developed into a profitable player from scratch...so maybe i am been arrogant but this would make sense to me.

HI, read THIS about ICM in sngs. It's some basic stuff. There is also an intro to SNGWiz
And i'm sure u all heard off poker tracker/ holdem manager. It a must have now. I recommend HM. They have a trial of 30 days I think. U will learn how to use it reading on their forum but I think there is a dedicated thread here too.
When you don't understand something, just google it, don't be lazy.

Invest in Collin Moshmann's book >> SNG Strategy. It'll be a huge help I guarantee it & is well worth the cost of the book.
I've also read some excellent SNG articles (not your typical beginner/intermed. stuff but more advanced).. & prior to doing so was basically a break-even SNG player. After reading the articles & Moshmann's book I found my results improved dramatically (was on a run for awhile with ROI 20%+ but then closer to +10% in the longrun).

I've never heard one single player say they felt they wasted their money on this book.

Checking out some good SNG training vids. would be the next step beyond this (imo). I'm not talking about crap stuff like MartySmith/Turtleknife stuff... I'm referring to good vids. put out by good coaches (winning players). It is well worth the investment.
