Default How often do u feel its a BAD CALL

    Hi all,
Curious to know i feel as though i get knocked out of tourneys around 90% of the time by hands that should simply of folded pre flop......is this the same for u guys.

Some examples as i just played 6 tourneys

I push kq got called kq ...i lost (player has called on WEAKEST hand i would of pushed on) Forget covering my range

I pushed ak...got called 22 ....lost......my stack was slightly desperate but position i pushed made clear i was showing strength to a good degreee.....My opinion was more likely i had a pair in the hole........22 never in good shape could easily of been in awful shape

AK got called AK lost.... this not one of the worst but i had big stack so did he, i pushed again he should know he DEFINATELY not ahead zero chance i was pushing aq.

AQ - 10 4....lost.....k i was shorstacked at a point where i have very wide calling range BUT still prob 40 percent of the pushing players chips im on BB 800 in with about 3800 back Button doubles the blind ...... i reraise he calls (Y did he want me to call then push post flop THATS what his dumb raise set up) and y raise 800 if u cant lay down to reraise ..raise fkn properly.

Clearly am just whingin at the mo Sick to death of BAD CALLS dont give 2 hoots bout BAD BEATS i wouldnt care anywhere near so much as i do with BAD CALLS. I RESPECT MY TOURNEY LIFE and HAVE no IDEA how players who call with hands that are NOT ahead of average range do this regardless of the fact there allin. Whats worse i genuinly do not see them been at a disadvantage for been bhind. All i seem to see is illogical, sensless bad play but i also see NO disadvantage to this play.

    Kinds regards

I decided about a year ago to never care. It is inevitable that bad players push crap. And they do. But I dont care anymore. I see it as there is always another game. I just go oh well and push on. I stick to my BRM. about $20 a day right now, and it literally does not bother me when idiots show up. I will just not even sigh, and go find the next game,. It's varience. top MTT players make money by winning 11% or so of games.

I'm playing $5 and $11 buyins now, and see the same donkey moves ( but , yes a few less), but I dont care. And I think this is an important thing to do. NOT CARE. I'm gonna play my game and make my decisions. sometimes they work and sometimes they crash against a donkey. sometimes I get outplayed. but I dont care. I will keep plugging away and never go on tilt.

Maybe I'm bragging, but I'm up about $1,000 this month. And this is important, I believe that NEVER CARING about any one game results is integral to being a winning player. I really cant stress that enough. I literally could care less about any damn hand or game. cause I BRM and just play my cards.

So many of you, like 95% get all upset over "I pushed AQ and get beat by 10 4" crap and bitch and moan about it. BS if u ask me. deal with it. it happens and it happens regular. Where do you get off, moaning that they are not betting correctly? roflmao.

I am here to tell you a simple and fundamental truth. get over it. its poker. It is immaterial that your AQ got beat by 10 4. and the sooner you realize that, the better player you will be. what is material and essential in poker is KNOWING that you made the right play with that AQ. You hear me? What is material and essential in poker is playing for the odds and doing your best. And not caring about the other player. You gotta focus on what YOU are doing, and do it for a reason.

My point is, You cannot buy into the fallacy of "they did that and they shouldn't have" and stomp your foot. It's is sooooo counterproductive to your poker psyche.

As Villa says as long as you're satisfied you have done the right thing you can't account for what someone else does
You just gotta take it on the chin and tag them and hopefully when you meet again the cards fall your way

One thing i do is go over HH when i feel like its happening to often just to make sure i am doing the right thing
Sometimes you do get it wrong but in the heat of the moment you dont see it that way
I think it is a good thing to go over your HH quite regular and always remember you gotta try and keep yourself playing to the max it is so easy to fall into playing like a robot without realising it
Its always better to celebrate the good days than brood over the bad days

Very Good advice but easier said than done when ur rolling hot and profiting overall u dont give 2 hoots but i am not and i just wondered how often do U think the hand that eliminates u should of.

Question: Where do you get off, moaning that they are not betting correctly? roflmao.
Contestant sos_egg_n : Errrrm Errrm i know this its on the tip of my tounge ...i know a Poker Forum

Correct: some examples of places unacceptable- A job interview, During a hostage situation, funerals and whilst 24 is on the tv

Question number 2: How funny does something need to be in order to gain a ROFLMAO reply

Answer: am not sure could it be when explaining certain situatuions in Texas hold em???

Incorrect: What kindof a ridiculous answer is that u moron i dont care if u still have the triple money round to go GET OUT!! OUT!! and take ur ridiculous answers with u

Sorry got a little carried away there but like a say with sour grapes i do not see my hands been rewarded, equally i do not see there bad calls (undisputably) been punished but vice versa.

Finally some one says what i been thinking when i see people get all but hurt because they lost on the river , uuggghhh isn't that why they deal the river so it can be used ?? Then they complain and go on tilt because god forbid you beat them with a hand they think you should of folded, god forbid i play something that another player at my table feels i shouldn't oh dear, lol

p.s. by the way nothing directed towards you here sos, i was just liking what villaridge said

judge just moaned that the guy who took him out shouldn't have bet with that...

well, i just went out of a game and i knew that the person who took most of my stack had 2 pairs, but i just couldn't fold my pretty king, jack...

was i hoping to be saved by the dreaded RIVER???????

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssssssss!!!!

bugger! didn't come up for me...

    oh well...

when will people accept poker is an unpredictable game and stop thinking u can foretell a winning hand...ok, some look nicer than others, but all the cards count....

judge is now on about risk and probability and has just lost again...
