IF THE 1st symbol is |: 111111111 :| see how the symbols bookend the first set of numbers, At ewallet they want you to type in the symbols but they do not have a symbol for |: (are checks different in Canada) If your routing number is bookended with the 2 symbols IT WONT WORK they have a symbol for :| but not the 1st way.

I tried 2 different checking accounts and talked to live help and NO DICE, Cant they just take the numbers, It aint like Im saying im trying to fund a site.

I have used ewalletexpress for 2 years. no problems and have used 2 different checking accounts. The symbols in ur account number and routing and check number are standardized throughout the banking industry. Have been for a long time.

Why you are having problems, IDK. but ewalletexpress is upfront and pays and deposits as they say they will. fees are high, but they always work. and is one of the few options left for the usa to deposit and withdraw funds.

Im thinking that people who have older accounts are grandfathered in but new accounts arent gonna fly. A lot more posting here recently about trouble depositing so maybe the whip has come down OR MAYBE THIS one of the fun after effects of the new regulations on banks

its bullshit. that has been standerdtized for years its the I: routing number followed by I: All banks follow that. and ewallet express asks for that and has that symbol for u to use.

The four symbols are:

The Transit Number Symbol, which indicates to the reader-sorter the boundaries of the Transit Field.

The On-Us Symbol, which indicates to the reader-sorter where to commence reading the Account Number or where to commence and finish reading the Serial Number Field.

The Amount Symbol, which indicates to the reader-sorter the boundaries of the amount field. Printers will not use this symbol ordinarily but it is reproduced here for recognition purposes.

The Dash Symbol, which is a divider or hyphen to the reader-sorter.

There is NO SUCH THING as a :I symbol
