I won at bodog!

It might not be worthy of my excitement, but I deposited $20 at bodog, and I now have $77 and change. I won a 10 seat sit n go, 2nd place in a 21 seat sit n go (scheduled tourney), and took about $15 to $17 off the 2c 5c cash games. Whoo Hoo! I am on top of the world right now. What a good experience. I just have to try and keep going up in $$ and not blow this excellent start. Thanx to all on the forum for getting me thinking about online poker, and really motivating me to play smart. Peace.

I would have have to look at your play to determine how skillful of a player you are. Do you know Basic Strategy.?

Well, I have read books, studied psychology, books on how to detect lies and deception, and I am a live player, who flushed my bankroll a year ago. I never really cared to play online, but I like it. I have been around the block, and I feel confident I know my way on a poker table (hold em). Peace.

Wouldn't worry about that guys post, looks like he's just promoting something(look at links at bottom). Any way, I'll be curious to see how you continue. I've heard about, and experienced myself, so many times people have amazing success early when they deposit or win a small amount from fr, then all of a sudden, its bad beat after bad beat and you're left with nothing. Search online poker conspiracy theories, you can read all about it. Many threads on here where people claim the same. Keep us informed, maybe you can break the rigged theory. Personally on bodog, I've taken a 6 dollar fr cash up to 100 bucks to see it drop to almost nothing. PO will tell you its just variance and that's the way poker goes, I guess I have to agree, or just quit playing. LIke I said, can't wait to hear how it continues to work out for you. Bodog is a good site to play because it has a lot of weak players.I think maybe because there are crossover players from there Sportsbook betting customers who are real Gamblers(risk takers) trying there Luck at Poker and not very good at it.Good luck there.

nice one - Bodog is a good choice of site, maybe the graphics arent cutting edge but the standard of players is consistently juicy so you should do well there

Dude you guys might not even believe me, but I just took 2nd place in bodog tourney id: 279125. It was a 2k gtd., 81 plyrs, $2430 prize pool, for $486!!!!!!! WHOO HOOOOO. I was reluctant to enter cause I had about $80, and it was 30 + 3 buy in. Boy am I glad I did. I am on top of the world right now. Peace.
