Reid is adding language to the tax bill to include online poker.

Democrats already blocked the extension of tax cuts even with Obama support
and I doubt the Senate will pass anything with Lame Duck

this poker news is just a waste of time IMO and wrong for American poker players

lol yea i guess only time will tell what happens down the road with Harry Reid cuz he has been trying to get it legalized for a while now so we will have to wait and see what happens.

I believe its only a matter of time before they legalize it but what may happen before it does is the states on an individual basis will keep passing stupid laws banning it or limiting it or trying to enforce archaic laws that exist and bending them so they include online poker/casino games etc. In Texas it is looking more and more like they will eventually have brick and mortar casino gambling no matter what the opponents to it try as the money is just too attractive and I think nation wide they will see that as well...too much money too just make it illegal and keep it that way....thats why so many of them are mad because they are losing out to the off-shore folks right now. Once they step up to the plate and it gets legalized those same ppl who get their share of the pie will suddenly shut it real quick. I would love to see once that happens how many of the supposed opponents get their share of the pie and start making moolah off it after saying its so bad and ruining our society etc. Ace
