Been browsing some other forums and hearing horror stories left and right and starting to feel one day, Im gonna try to log into a poker room (any) and they are gonna say nobody from the states allowed. Which is making me think I need start playing up my money on these sites and try to win big or (use it or lose it)

I got close to $100 floating in cyberspace that I took off my cake account to ewallet and I have no clue where that is going.

I have read that some of the checks from certains sites are bouncing and not being issued at all

I have read people are having trouble even depositing on the big 2 (HEY I DIDNT SAY I KNOW FOR A FACT, just saying I read)

Did not realize it was a felony in 3 states. I thought they were trying to make it US players only sites I didnt realize they were trying to ban online poker permanetly

The question is even if you win money, how are you gonna get it. If wallets are being seized and checks are bouncing.

AM I FREAKING FOR NO REASON or is the US F'd and if so, anyone know any inside info on how long we have. If they suddenly say all US players cant play, they arent gonna give us back our cash (or will they) like i said I dont know if I should be going ALL IN SOON

Wow, I hope this doesn't happen. I would say, don't worry about it until it happens. Of course, you could take your money off and just be done.... We will just have to see how things play out. Peace.

Thats the thing, on smaller sites how are you gonna get your money. Ewallet i keep reading had all their assets frozen and no one is taking it anymore (for the time being until their update problems are corrected) and thats what I have been using plus I did take my money off cake before I knew any of this, just to keep all my balances low and that money iis tied up in ewallet cyber space land. I also read that cake checks have bounced (and ya need $500 to even get a check) to US folks and people have posted that sites like AP arent even issuing checks for US now. If the govt has froze one ewallet set up Im sure the others arent gonna be too quick to take US accounts. I mean I dont know any of this as facts except for the ewallet stuff (that I have money just floating in cyber space land until this government thing is taken care of). IM just curious if anyone is in the know and can enlighten

Well this may cheer you up a bit. I did just receive a check from bodog yesterday, and I deposited it in the bank. As far as I know, no problems. But, if something goes wrong, I will post it. I have never used e-wallet. I just used a netspend visa to fund account, and got a check to take some money off the site. Peace.

also I don't see a usa wide ban on poker, it will go the way it has been, state by state

Didn't know there were 3 states (heard about Wash St) that considered it a felony. I know I have no problem dep. on FT (echecks). Unfortunately i haven't had a opportunity to see if I can withdrawal as easily, the option is there though, just not the br to withdrawal. I've gotten checks in the past though from carbon and bodog, even way back then it took forever to get, though no problem with them.

See we need to be like other countries. Hell tell the UK they gotta pay some extra for education and those folk are ready to tear up the country. Thats what Americans need to start doing UPRISE and START BURNING SOME SH#T DOWN. We just sit back and say, wow they are raising tuition, wow pretty soon the government wont let us play online poker.

As I asked one person, If the US is banned I dont know what I will do with my PC then. I was thinking, dont touch it for 10 years and then sell it as a collectors item with all the old Poker software installed on it.

I think once the U.S. gov decides they can make umpteen millions of dollars just by legalizing U.S. based poker rooms and then by regulating and taxing it they will throw 1000% of their weight behind it. Then people will bitch about being taxed but i will be very glad to see it happen because then i would sleep soundly knowing my deposits went in good and when i need to withdraw it will be easy as pie because we won't be dealing with these 1 pony clip shot joints being run out of some bamboo and grass hut down in Panama or Antigua etc.. So for now Dan take it very easy with joining and depositing any new rooms or methods would be my guess, and wait to see what ends up happening.If the DOJ or some other 3 letter agency did freeze all ewalletx funds then what will probably occur will be like the whole Neteller issue a couple of years ago, so you will probably get your money but it could take a year or so.Just to let you know though i made a $20 deposit on to Poker Stars the other night and used echecks and it was instant and very easy, and there is no 3rd party involved so i felt safer like that

I said before I,m glad I,m from Canada.I use moneybookers who seem solid.I wouldn,t let any of my poker sites get too high though.I move it off to moneybookers and even withdraw what I don,t need from them.This Ewallet thing is scary.
